Had a lovely day yesterday with our friends over for lunch, so nice to catch up with them.

How is Jim today Aggie is he home or still in hospital ? It will be all confusing for him while you having so much work done . All the mess will be worth it in the end you will be able to look after him a lot better having the wet room downstairs etc . hang on in there xxx

I have a lot of family goings on at the moment, not for general distribution as legal stuff is involved, plus we are trying to get the freehold of the flat settled and nobody except me is doing anything about it. it has been going on for two years and two months now and we have outlayed a lot of money. Plus it is Time to Shine next Friday and the usual rubbish is going on "oh I have just remembered I can only do the morning" or "oh I cannot get childcare organised" plus all the other "I have a meeting so will need to be away between x and x time".

I very carefully mentioned to husband that I would quite like new kitchen doors as there is no different configuration for our small kitchen and he has completely surprised me by saying that after Christmas we should go and organise a completely new kitchen!

We are having Ben overnight on Monday, first time for 18 months. His health has improved a bit. Long story. Joe and Sadie are in Portugal with mummy and daddy. I am rushed off my feet work wise. Husband has to go and have a tracer injection and x Ray in his shoulder and they think he will need a operation. He is also going to need an operation on his eyes.

I have so much to catch up on and to tell you all that I don't think I can do it all tonight. I will come on here tomorrow and give you all an explanation of the last few weeks, probably YEO because of the legal issue thingie.

Hope everyone is OK. I feel terribly bad not having been on here. I apologise if I have missed birthdays and important occasions. I just feel a bit manic. MINNY I shall be in touch re lunch over the weekend.

Nanto - That lot might be - but there's always more. I actually avoided doing washing today because I already have so much ironing piled up I didn't want to add to it!!



Aggie - I'm so sorry I've obviously missed posts about what is going on in your life. The new kitchen sounds like a major project but it will be great when it's done. I hope your OH is coping ok.

ZiZi - you are so busy, no wonder you haven't had chance to post and Plant is right - make sure you stay well. I've missed you, but totally understand. The best bit of news is that Ben's health has improved a bit. xxx

Good morning ladies.I don't want to upset anyone,but I heard on the weather forecast yesterday that August will be much the same as July, but hopefully things might change.



Good to see ZZI on here, but she is so busy as usual.

Ben is coming to stay over Monday and Tuesday as I said elsewhere. His adrenal gland has started to work again but not to full capacity so he is being weaned off the drugs which has the effect of improving his appetite, the previous changing of drugs had the same effect so he is currently eating like a horse. He has shot up and actually has some meat on his bones which he has never had in his whole little life! He has developed a love of fish apparently and does not much like red meat. This is all quite a revelation as before it was a battle just to get him to eat three mouthfuls of food.

Today I have been to the bakers and greengrocers and missed out the butcher as I have tons of meat in the freezer. I shall be doing some of that horrible stuff beginning with H soon. Have put a dark wash in, just about to put a light wash in, got a big white wash to go - phew telephone call to the ironing fairy coming up.
