This is what my door should look like as it’s the same style door 😀

Oma, that was a good service, shame there were not enough volunteers, but, we will go that way here as well, the next generation will have worked all their lives and will relax when they retire. We have a young couple, he is 53 and she is a little younger, both have full time work, no family, she has recovered from breast cancer, they do the administration part, at their age and the work they do, I find it very good.
I have been to the hairdresser and the town hall, it is very windy but warm with it.

Good morning everyone.
EXTREMELY windy today!!
Oma, fingers crossed for your GS2's results. Nice door colour, the same our similar to ours!
Lizzie, I'm sure all your volunteer work is well appreciated. If all of us who volunteer at anything withdrew our services the world would be a poorer place!
Nan2, I will take your lead and start on a few meals for the freezer after my holiday!
I got distracted there as SIL and GS3 arrived! GS is having his morning snack and CBeebies now. Not sure we will play outside as it's so windy! Plenty do keep him entertained inside anyway, including a new sticker book.
Late afternoon I am taking GS home and staying for meal with them. We were both invited of course but OH is busy at the golf course all day. Some big event she volunteers at, there are morning and afternoon sessions and 2 raffles. She left just after 8 and doesn't expect to be back much before 8 tonight!

Good Thursday morning, everyone. It's windy here, too, but not cold.
DIL1 is due to arrive any minute, but I just wanted to say a huge "well done" to Oma's GS2. Brilliant results - no wonder he's buzzing. Give him my congratualtions.
Just noticed the school featured on BBC news - Thistley Hough - is my old school.
I'll pop back later."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Oma, A big well done from me to your GS1, I suppose it was expected he would do quite well, he is well focused on what he wants.
Daisy, have a special time with your Dil.
Gemini, another child minding day for you this week, you certainly give a lot of support to your children. Have a lovely time with GS3
Just been interrupted, will be back later.

Well done Oma's GS2! Good luck for the future, whatever his plans are!
Oma, is your door a wood one ? I'm thinking about changing mine from black to something else, but not sure if it can be painted. It's not a wooden one, PVC maybe?
Any news on MiL ?
Grey, drizzly and chilly here today. Must get on and finish the shower room, not feeling very motivated!! High winds forecast for later on I believe from some storm which has come from America.
This hip injection seems to be wearing off which I'm not very happy about as you can imagine! I'll give it a bit longer, but I think I may have to go back and see the consultant.
Hope everyone has a good day whatever you're up to. x
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

my door is PVC also , several of my neighbours have theirs sprayed they look good , that’s why we decided to do that rather than the expense of a full new door .
What a shame your jab is wearing off, my knee jabs last a long time when I have them done .
I hope you can get it sorted.
MIL was feeling better when SIL was in last night ,
We are going to see her tonight, thank you for asking 😁
GS is off to 6th form in September he wants to be a physio therapist .Im not fat just 6ft too small

A real change in the weather today, windy and raining. GD popped home for a couple of days as their restaurant closes for two weeks now so it was lovely to see her. They have been very busy so she is glad of the break.
Well done to GS Oma, so good when they get the results they want . I like the new door colour you have chosen. I hadn’t thought of Having the door painted, good idea. Are you having it done professionally? Would love to see it when it’s done.
WG, shame about your hip. How long since you had the injection? My knee injections are usually good for at least 6 months and really make a difference to my mobility. Hope you can get it sorted out.
GS set up,his own digital marketing business about 18 months ago and it seems to have really taken off lately. It was hard at first but he has some good clients now and has steady work coming in. I’m pleased for him as he has worked hard to get it off the ground.
Thank you for your thoughts re my eating. Luckily I love cheese so have been adding it to lots of things and I’ve also started having a small snack mid morning and afternoon, I’m resisting weighing myself as I don’t think that’s a good idea. I feel really well so hopefully I will put a few pounds on gradually.
