My goodness, I didn't expect to be pain free so quickly! left with a little bruise where the injection went in, but that's it! Slept all night, mind you the wine and painkiller probably helped! Let's hope it lasts!

Lovely day here! Not sure what to do this afternoon. DS has gone off to do some shopping on the bus. Been to coffee morning and caught up on the local gossip!

I got back from my massage just before GS3 woke from his nap so got to spend a bit more time with him before daddy came.

We are going to Wakefield, not for anything special, just for a change. When we get there, we'll go to our favourite cafe for coffee, then go for a meal later.

I have just cleaned through and done the insides of my windows downstairs , I was going to do upstairs but I’m a bit stiff and sore this morning so only the bare minimum done this morning.

Need to pop to the pound shop for a throw away dust sheet,
My friend is having her hair cut at mine on Monday if I put one down the mess stays there and it’s just rolled up and put in the bin.

DD3 will be here soon to drop off GS3 and get ready for the wedding they are going to. GS will stay here until tomorrow.
Two friends are coming this afternoon to have tea and cake in the garden, and meet little E, who they haven't met. Neither of them could make my birthday open house or would have met him then.

A bit cooler this morning but another warm fine day is forecast.

Nan2 a cooler start here too and then very warm..GS3 was in the paddling pool this afternoon. I'm afraid I took the short cut of adding his bath toys and bubble bath to avoid the need for a bedtime bath! I couldn't see the sense of getting him dried just to put him in the bath an hour or so later

A good but long day. I am in bed now as it will probably be an early start and he's had a few waking in the night incidents, so I am prepared for one tonight . I will let you know in the morning.

Hubby gone to a car boot sale with his brother.
Then he's helping said brother with something in the house,so not sure when i will see hubby.
We had a lovely carvery yesterday while we out,so just a pizza today. When, i don't know.
Depends when hubby gets home.

We off out for brunch with DD & SIL and Friends , GS1 at work this morning so won’t see him
We taking him and Lucie for tea I think Tuesday .

its not as bright this morning but warm.
white wash in just towels to do after them.

SIL papering for us today another job out of the way.
I ironed the new curtains yesterday they are across the spare bed ready to go up.

Little E didn't wake in the night and slept until after 6. He woke up happy as usual.
He isn't being collected until after his afternoon nap, as his parents are having brunch with friends over in Leeds. We were not consulted about these plans and had presumed he was being picked up this morning ( this is the 4th consecutive day he will be here!) Luckily he is a lovely, happy little boy and a joy to be with.
We have plans to meet friends for drinks and an early evening meal, but that fits in with DD and SIL's social plans - luckily!!

I have given up on trying to write a holiday diary, it doesn’t seem to appear. The main news is that my GD2’s partner proposed to her and presented her with a lovely emerald and diamond ring. We (not me) have had a couple of beach days. The two families with children have enjoyed those and yesterday went to an aquarium. H is loving being with her cousins and the baby is so good and gives us lovely smiles. We went to a biscuit factory yesterday and stocked up on biscuits. Very sad we only have today and tomorrow left before we have to come home. DD, Sil, GD and her partner are here till the weekend. Bakers is shut today so no lovely pastries this morning for breakfast.

Good Sunday morning, everyone. It was hazy first thing, but is now much brighter and I've got the guest towels out on the line.

We're going to get the caravan ready for our holiday today, and I need to get all the crockery, cutlery pots and pans etc in the dishwasher, sort out food staples, tea, coffee etc. Plus the garden is screaming for some TLC, but first a friend is dropping round for a quick coffee and catch up, so I'd better get on!

It's lovely to see Plant's GD2's good news. xx
