Had a lovely day with the family. DD came across with GS and his GF and I'd done a buffet meal which we ate in the garden. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, but now I feel shattered!!

Aqua for me this morning. No plans later. DDs 2 and 3 invited us to meet them with them children later but the timing means we wouldn't have much time there before they left. As you have to pay entrance it's not worth is doing it this time. They know I want to do some things with them over the summer though. Its nice once in a while to spend time with GC which isn't childcare

I've got a long 'to do' list for today, so I'm grateful the weather's good - at least the washing will dry.

OH's brother and his wife arrive tomorrow and I still haven't made up their bed or cleaned the room. I promised to draw a map for a friend going to the funeral on Thursday as they will have to park at a nearby school for the wake and don't know the area at all. Oh, and dinner for tomorrow night - mustn't forget that. Plus food to prepare for Eva. I've shortened one of the curtains for the bathroom, but must get the other done today as well. I'd better get a move on.

The sun is out , I have put a dress on , I bought this one last year and I’ve never worn it ,
It’s a wrap around and I wasn’t too sure it went with my dumpling shape but B said it looks nice on , it does feel cool and floaty.

Im popping to B&M and Lidl but that’s as exciting as it gets today .

Good morning, Daisy, you are very busy!

I have phoned about the garage doors, a well know problem, the doors have only been on a few months! They can't get to repair them today as a few of the men are on holiday, which I understand, she has promised they will be here tomorrow morning, if there was a slot later today they would try and get here to do the door, I have got M next door to take me to DS1's to do the plants, they will be home tomorrow but late I think. I could go on the metro, the only thing is a long walk there and getting to their house as well, plus the fact it is HOT!

I ended up washing all the paintwork on the landing,stairs and hall. Washed the front door inside and out.

After that, i decided it was too warm to do the ironing.

Good aqua class then coffee with my friends. This afternoon I sorted out a few things for the charity shop, and we played a couple of games of Scrabble in the garden. I'm looking after GS1 at their house rather than here tomorrow and an early start so I won't be up late tonight!

It's been a lovely warm day, but I've kept busy and resisted the temptation to laze in the garden all day!

I got loads of washing done, and even ironed most of it. OH has been cleaning carpets - we've been meaning to do them for weeks but hadn't got round to it. Eva likes to lie at the bottom of the stairs and I was shocked how dirty the water was just from that one step!

I'm shattered, so will say 'good night'. xx

Not a lot for me to do today. Going to clean the bathroom and get towels in the wash.
Just need to tidy round downstairs.

Jacket potatoes for dinner with beans and cloeslaw. The coleslaw needs using up.

another lovely day, but yet another day the sitting room decorating on hold.

Up with the sparrows cough this morning so while it was still cool I got my housework done hall stairs landing then through downstairs.
To be fair it didn’t really need a lot doing so took no time at all.

I was thinking about Jacket potatoes, we had Salad last night , it’s too warm for anything heavy isn’t it.

Got to take my sharps box to the Drs to be disposed of but not much else to do.
We did intend to go to Hexham to a pick your own farm but it’s now by tickets and they were all sold out ,
Years since we have been and it used to be free , how times change when you have to pay to pick your own.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. It looks like another sunny, warm day.

OH has got to go and pick his suit up from the dry cleaners - and it's the New Forest Show this week so travelling anywhere is a lottery with all the traffic.

OH's brother and SIL arrive this afternoon. I've just got to make their bed up and give the room a quick dust and hoover round, but I'd better get on with it. I'll try and pop back later.
