Oma, I hope you manage a nap today in between looking after the zoo. Your grass will be floating away soon.

I am finding some bruises and sore places now after my fall. DD is insisting I have someone to be here when they go away, I am not keen on having a stranger. I am getting to be a bit of a worry for her but I don’t feel ready to go into some sort of care whilst I have my marbles and they are so expensive. My son and Dil are a short drive away and GD2 and her partner are living here whilst they look for a house and GD1 is a short drive away. I will look into having someone to stay when I will be on my own.

Gemini, shame to leave a lovely warm place, sounds like you have had a good holiday, plenty of sunshine.

Afternoon ladies ,
I've had 40 winks , i was so tired eating lunch I ended up leaving it.
Dog walker had storm out 2 hours , gave me time to feed the cats and the fish and clean the litter tray out .
I then checked on the plants but it’s been raining so hard nothing needed watering.
I filled the bird seeders up .
Hes flat out in the garden hasn’t moved since he came in , paws covered in mud but he was happy 😁

Plant I’m sure your DD is worried when your alone , could GD and H not come to stay whileDD is away ?

Plant, i think it would be wise if someone could stay with you. Only natural for DD to worry.

Fish and chips were nice,but they were homemade, not from the fish shop.

Nextdoor neighbour gave us some beetroot he had grown.
We do eat beetroot and always have jar in.
Anyway i have boiled it and put it in a jar wirh vinegar.
Hubby said its a bit of a faf for how much a jar costs.

Got the washing dry in the sunshine,but its clouded over now.

Hello everyone.

I have read all your comments but have been making the most of the last day in Malta! We spent an hour in the sea this morning, spent a bit of time in the room then off to the pool for the afternoon.
I will be home around 5 tomorrow I imagine ( flight due in at 3.30) I will catch up with you all tomorrow night.

Yes Oma, GD would come but her Daughter is at school and she would be at least a 20 minute drive away., she will be full time in September so GD might look for a job as they are so hard up. I think she would as I would pay her. We shall see. Since GD and sil retired they go to Normandy 4 times a year and fit in other trips in between. When I can’t look after myself I will book into a local home, we have several not far away. I have to face I am not getting any younger.

Nanto my OH used to grow beetroot but we didn’t like it in vinegar so just ate it boiled.

Took Stormfor a short walk just now and found a lone Buttercup , just the one .
I looked around and couldn’t see any other 😁

This afternoon another Great Nephew was born , He’s called Ruben and was 7lb 1 oz mother and baby doing great

Good morning. Would you be surprised to hear its raining.

I'm going into town this morning, just to get out for a couple of hours, seeing as we didn't go out on Saturday.
It'll be the usual routine, hubby will meet up with his pal,then we will all meet up for coffee.
I need a bit of shopping from the butchers and a few more bits.

Think I might do a salad and chicken for dinner.

W.I this morning but I have decided not to go, my body is sore pretty much everywhere. The thought of sitting on a hard chair for a couple of hours doesn’t appeal to me. Going to see a friend, who has recently lost her OH, for a cuppa this afternoon, think I can manage that. I would love a warm bath but I have to use a seat and it doesn’t allow you to get fully covered with the warm water. I feel like a real misery atm.
