We all seem busy today with one thing or another 😁

We have been to Aldi early Im still a bit off mostly lack of sleep with this chesty cough but I’m ok .

GS2 had his prom last night he looked lovely with his girlfriend , I hope they enjoyed it.

Had a good day in town,just after we got home,visitors arrived.
We weren't expecting them,but was a lovely afternoon.
They stayed for about 3 hours.

I apologise if i miss any posts, but i'm a bit behind on here.

Good morning. It's dry and there's no wind for a change.

Hubby's brother just picked him up, they have gone to a car boot.

We are hoping to get the garden done today.

Salad for dinner, Hubby's choice, we will have something chickeny with it.

Sunny and blue skies here , with some wind. I think we will get the bedding on the line.
No plans today as such. We will print off the boarding passes and other holiday info and I will finish my packing. Then I will just put it all into the case tomorrow.

Good morning, we had a storm yesterday afternoon, it was a storm as well, gusts upto 100kms were reached. , DS1 phoned when I was on my way home from the gym, I told him I had to get my bike safe to answer him, he asked why the #### I was out on the bike and told me to walk the rest of the way home!

It is still windy but nothing like yesterday, a lot of damage, tree's, branches, flying tents etc.

I have just found a crate I am looking for, at Ikea, not my shop, I will go one morning, on the bike, at 10am when it isn't too busy.

Its not exactly sunny but not cold , towels in the wash housework done and floors washed.

I feel almost normal now , if this chest thing would go I would be 100%.

Just did a online urine test I was sent through the post, apparently people with higher risk of kidney diseases and such like are being sent them
Anyway you have to download a NHS app and then do a dip stick sample then scan it and it gives instant results.
Mine was normal so that’s good .
I thought it would be a faff on but was really easy

They sent B one but as he’s already seeing a kidney specialist seems a bit pointless really.

Oma, hubby didn't bring a load of junk back, thank goodness. He only bought a box of very small screws that he says he needed.
Glad you are feeling almost normal.

I don't think the garden will get done.
Not looking good, its gone very dark.

Salads are plated up and in the fridge. Just the chicken in breadcrumbs to cook in the air fryer.

I think GD1, her OH and H are going to be here today, it is her OH’s birthday. I am trying to watch the football but it is a joke that these players are paid lots of money for the poor performances. Now Wimbledon is a different ball game (see the pun).

Was just about to go for a walk and the heavens have opened! Will this rain ever end?

Going out for lunch later. DD needs to pick up a parcel from Next first, so she's picking me up and I'll go with her. Not that I need anything, but I haven't been to the big Next for a long time!

Oma, glad you're feeling better! I sound like a sealion with this cough, just hoping it doesn't develop into something worse! Sum1ls accident sounds horrific, just hope she's getting lots of pain relief and can get back to a hospital nearer home as soon as possible.

WG, I think I have only been to that large Next shop a couple of times, have a good lunch with DD. In case you are wondering what my GS is doing digging a trench the length of his garden, he is getting it ready for a cable to be laid for an office at the end of his garden.

Next was heaving.....there was a sale on which we hadn't realised! GS needed black trousers for his work experience this week which he managed to get! We had a lovely lunch at a local pub and now I don't feel like doing anything!

Plant, I wondered what your GS was having done! I knew it was right behind my shed, but couldn't see what was happening! Nice long garden for him to put an office there.

WG His family were here to lunch today but he had to go back to continue with the digging. It is a very long garden so a lot of digging. Did you manage to find anything to buy in Next?
