The girls will have lovely holidays with friends and of course with you.
Isnt it lovely when they want to spend time with you at that age.

Will the gates go on today or is it just ground work? I bet the neighbours will be envious 😁

We not having the dog today, B taking advantage of the good weather to paint the shed,
He doesnt need Storm trying to help and he would by try putting his nose in the paint pot 😁

Not sure about food again today , I ended up with salmon last night and B had stinky garlic kiev, yuk it stinks .

I still haven't got round to getting an air fryer Nan2!

Just GS2 from school this afternoon so a nice easy day.

Oma, its just ground work. Unfortunately, they have hit a gas pipe.
Once the foundations are done,it has to be left for two weeks.
Hubby didn't want to change the gates,so are our existing gates are going to be fused together.

Oma, good idea to get that shed painted when you don’t have Storm helping.

Nanto, Oh dear, have you had to call the gas board to mend the damaged pipe?

Another lovely sunny morning, GD1 coming to do my work this afternoon. GD2 is going to Margate with some friends for three days. They looked at a house in the village yesterday, not keen. Although I still call, where we live , a village, it is very built up and they would prefer it to be a bit more rural. Near where GG lives would suit them better.

Goodness Nanto , hope it’s easy fixed.

GS came for lunch before he played golf , he has a day off today.
Just as well I always have his favourite food in.

B did one coat on shed then it got too hot,
Ive given the bedrooms and bathroom a clean and cleaned the oven door,
Its so warm isn’t it but lovely to have all the windows in the house open.

When we popped to Lidl this morning across the road is a big garden centre and in the car park there was a fruit and veg market set up ,
They are going to be there every Friday.

I bought some lovely oranges , apples , new potatoes and pea pods .
I had already bought a cabbage and asparagus in Lidl before we noticed them.

English strawberries and big fat cherries but again I had already bought them.
I will go back next week as the produce looked so fresh .

Oma,the gas man wasn't long in coming. Didn't take long to fix.
All is well now.
We've got tidied up now. Hubby just hosing a few bits down now.
Can't beat english strawberries.

Weather has been beautiful today.

I bought some cherries this week, I found them a bit tasteless.

Pleased to hear the gas leak is fixed Nanto.

Oma, GS knows he will always get his favourite food with you!

Such a lovely summer day here It was Freezy Friday at GS2's school. Ice lollies for sale in the playground after school for £1 each. They do this every few weeks over summer as a fund raiser and it always does well. GS and I enjoyed a lolly before going the car .
OH was playing for the golf team away today and has done very well. She will be happy when she gets in

Glad OH did well golfing.

Not sure what we are doing today. Hubby's got some wiring to do, but can't make his mind up whether to do it today or if we are going out.

If we don't go out, dinner will be a cheese omelette for me and chicken tikka microwave meal for hubby.
That's as much cooking I'll be doing today.

Josh played in a tournament yesterday well it was over 2 days , he rang to say he had won,
He got a bottle of bubbly , a box of golf balls , a voucher for £400 to play at a top golf course somewhere around here so he was buzzing 😁
Pleased S had a good day too.
Like the ice lolly idea especially on a hot day .

some cherries are tasteless it depends where they come from ,
We got some last week and they were really sweet but turned our mouths and hands purple ,
Bs lips looked like he had heart problems 😁

Its overcast but warm,
We have just been to B&M, we went the other day but I forgot Dettol spray and hand wash
It was nice and quiet so went in got what I wanted and out again Quickly.

Think DD coming this morning.

Cloudy sky for us today, I think we have had some rain, the garden needs it. My DD and Sil who are in Greece say it is too hot, temp over 30. Sun coming out as I write. GD2 in Margate so I will be taking her OH to the station later, he is meeting friends in London. No visitors today, GD1, her OH and H are going swimming.

Go out Nanto, if it is fine, wiring can wait another day

No plans today. I am showered and dressed and ready for whatever the day holds

Not to worry,i got a few jobs done inside.Hubby got his main job done today.
