Time to Chat Day by Day

Oma, I don’t know what was wrong with me that day, just felt tired and sleepy. I didn’t deliberately not post, just forgot I hadn’t checked in at least.

Disappointing afternoon, I didn’t win any games but still enjoyed the company. Lots of plans for our holiday in Normandy at the end of July, we have had to take another house as there are too many for the main one. I am travelling with Sil and DD going, we are going by boat to Cherbourg but I am coming back with GD1 her OH and H on the train, we are not staying the full fortnight.

We have only bought some things for H from our large M&S and had lunch there recently. I have ordered some T shirts on line this year and pick the parcels up from local food hall.

I was tired after my class but I did take it easy.
It's just that annoying catarrh cough left now .

Nice to have a big M&S food hall Oma. The branch where I park to go to aqua has a large one.

Plant, lovely to have a holiday to look forward to and plan for.

Nan2, they obviously got on with the pavement.

Lovely sunny evening here now. GS1 is his usual chatty self again.
He turned up at my car with a bike after school. I have a small Nissan Micra which has a baby car seat fitted in the back! No way would it fit in. We decided he should take it back to school, which he did. Whilst he was doing that I texted DD to tell her. She said he was supposed to leave it at school anyway as it's for a cycling proficiency course which is on again tomorrow

Asda shopping coming between 9 and 10.

No cooking today, going for a pub meal.

Daisy and family still in my thoughts.

The sun is out but it feels cold. Nice bright sky though.
GS3 today. No golf for OH as she managed to get an appointment about her hearing aids, which unfortunately clashes with Thursday afternoon golf. GS loves her being here so he will be happy she won't be gone as long
Still a croaky voice for me, but these things take their time.

Not sure what the weather forecast is, it is overcast atm. A friend whose OH died recently is coming for lunch.

Oma, I hope Mil is in a happy, well perhaps happy is stretching it a bit.

Gemini, Have a lovely time with GS3. How nice that GS1 was his old self when you picked him up from school.

How was MIL Oma?

We had a lovely day with GS3, we were in the garden most of the morning. While he had his afternoon nap and OH was the the audio department, I planted out garden tubs.
I still don't feel right, it comes and goes. I think it's one of those bugs which linger.

We are all looking forward to our weekend away. OH and I will set off after lunch tomorrow I think. We can't check in until 4 but we need to collect the Tesco order near there first.

Mil was ok , she had mucked up her lap top and couldn’t get emails, pay her bills , or things like face book etc .
Lord knows what she had done but took B two hours to go through everything ,
He changed her pass word to the same on everything so she doesn't have to keep trying different ones as she keeps forgetting what one goes with what ,

Moaned about the Gardener yet again , we get the same every week.

While B sorted the lap top , I put the meals we had taken into the freezer , put her bin out, sprayed the weeds and moved some pots then hung her washing out.
I wanted to wash her floors but she said leave them for her cleaner to do on Saturday .

We came home had lunch then I defrosted the little can fridge we keep under the stairs, it took ages.
B got the ladders out and I held them while he cleaned the moss of the porch roof and cleaned the gutters out.

We then went to Garden centre to get gift vouchers for our DD she’s 51 tomorrow and loves her garden so it’s a safe present to get .

Lucie rang while we were on the way home, she was in the jewellers and wanted to know what I thought of some earrings she was buying for DDs Birthday,
She had chosen some really lovely star shaped studs , my DD will love them.

Its been none stop today I’m tired now.

Just going to finish my cuppa, then going to get a load of darks in the washer.

Thank you for DDs Birthday wishes, I have just spoken to her she’s delighted with her vouchers, she’s had her eye on a Acer for ages so can buy it now 😁

I have done two loads of washing I will iron after lunch it’s rather dull and damp so they went in the tumble.

Got Drs at 8.50 see about this leg pain I have had since November he doesn’t seem to know what it is , X-ray came back normal , quinine didn’t help neither did anti inflammatory they just gave me stomach ache ,
See what he suggests today.

Oma Happy Birthday to your lovely DD. I hope you get some answers about your leg pain

Fish and chips always go down well in out house, Nan2, either fish shop or home made.

I'm sure we will have good wifi where we are going, so I should be here as normal. If I do go AWOL though you will know why!
I will be back on Sunday afternoon sometime.

Daisy is dropping in from time to time. She says she appreciates not only all your kind comments, but also the normality of posts. So keep on talking about your day

Oma, it is my GS3’s birthday today too. Pleased to hear Mil was well behaved. I hoped you get some results from the doctor about your persistent leg pain.

I have to go to the local hospital to collect some tablets, might try and do it this morning. GD coming later to do my cleaning. Had a nice chat and lunch with my friend, she is gradually picking up her routine again, she has two lovely daughters who have helped her through her OH’s sudden death.

Nanto, a quiet day for you, very unusual. I expect you will have unexpected visitors who will need feeding.
