GD and H have just arrived, H stayed at her pre-school for lunch today, she fell asleep in the car coming here, having a cuddle with mummy atm. We had a very noisy storm last night apparently, I didn’t hear a thing! GD is going to do some cleaning for me. I haven’t heard much from DD and family, I am sure they are having a nice time with their DS2 and his lovely partner.

Oma, pleased to hear Mil was quite good, not too many moans.

Good morning. Looks a bit dull.

Joining in the talk about Wagon Wheels, I buy them. The last lot i bought were gone in no time, visitors loved them.

Hubby out walking with his pal this morning.
Just the usual kind of morning for me.

Chip, gammon and pineapple with peas for dinner.

Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

        Good morning everyone.

All this Wagon Wheel talk is making me want one! Nice treat for visitors Nan2.

A morning pre school plus lunch is very tiring when you are only 3 Plant

Daisy to be honest I would NEVER cook liver! OH has it sometimes if it's on a menu. I'm not against her cooking it, I would have something else! I last cooked liver as teenager cooking tea for myself mum and dad. I was so revolted by that I still remember that I just shared it between them both and made myself a fried egg!

LOL at MIL's Too Light light Oma

It was a beautiful day weatherwise yesterday. Baby E and I were outside a lot of the day.
Sunny again now but I know rain is forecast.
My third aquafit class of the week this morning (not quite as virtuous as its sounds, its because I will only have one next week! )
GS2 from school this afternoon and catch up chat with DD when she comes to pick him up.
The coffee table is ready for collection. It's not far from the pool but it wont fit in my car. OH will either go for it today or we can go together tomorrow.

        Happy Friday everyone

A Wagon Wheel from a past panto. Several were thrown out (good overarm throw our dame!) into the audience at every performance for decades. They were prized and people would almost knock other audience members out of the way to catch one Kept and not eaten in most cases. wagon.jpg

            Morning everyone
            A bit overcast here ,
I have the bedroom windows open but just a little incase it rains , Rain always seems to drive towards our bedroom window making the window sill wet if they are open.

Dog has had his treats and biscuit, he’s now asleep in the garden.
DD brought him, she’s still feeling queasy , I think it may be the hormone tablets she’s on for the Menapause,
They changed them last week , I’ve told her to ring nurse and ask if that’s the possible cause.

            Plant
Poor H must have been so tired , it’s a hard life being 3 you know 🤣🤣

            Daisy
I haven’t even bought any plants yet and I only have one small border ,
I have put my Lily pots out and my Fuchsia bush has had a feed and it’s sprouting nicely ,
I cut it back right to the soil each year and it comes back stronger each time,
Im not sure if I’m doing right but it seems to like it.

            Gem
Enjoy Aqua and take a photo of your new table , you know I like a new table 😁

            Nanto
I like Gammon a lot and pineapple but not together for some reason and I don’t like egg with it 😁

I was telling GS we were talking about Waggon wheels and how big they were when we were young,
He said did they just look big because you were small but we said no they really were big ,
Im going to look on google see if there are any old photos to show him we are right 😁
Im not fat just 6ft too small

                  Good Friday morning, everyone.

Oma, quite a difference in size! Also, I notice the wrapper says "new chocolatey taste" which means it's not real chocolate as we know it! I cut my outdoor fuchsias right back to the base, and they seem to love it. One of them must be about 40 years old, and the other is a cutting from that one. Poor DD. In a way I hope it is the new meds, because she'll feel better as soon as she changes them.

Gem, it's interesting how things become traditions with pantos, isn't it. Throwing waggon wheels to the audience must be one of the more unusual ones. I wonder how it started? You were lucky with the weather yesterday, and it must be lovely to take GS3 in the garden to play. I bet he enjoys it so much - and sleeps well after all that fresh air. Three aqua classes in a week does sound good, even though it will only be one next week. It's a bit like having money in the bank! Are you looking forward to finally getting your new coffee table?Cooking liver for your mum and dad made a lasting (bad) impression on you, for sure. I love liver, bacon and onions. For me it's the best way to have bacon, which I'm not that keen on. I slow cook a kilo of liver at a time, then chop it into small pieces and freeze it for training treats for Eva. She loves it and it doesn't upset her tummy like most bought dog treats do.

Plant, little H is doing well - no wonder she fell asleep in the car. I hope she went to bed ok in the evening. No news is probably good news from the Normandy holiday makers. I hope they're having a good time.

Yesterday was cold and miserable here, but today looks a bit better. We'v done the usual Friday morning scramble to get the bins out and the groceries in and OH has gone to see how the kit car is doing at the upholsterers and is then calling on DS2 on the way back to borrow a tool he's got for cleaning crevices in block paving. We need to pressure wash the patio, so maybe it's a job for the week-end!

I am going to spring clean the summerhouse this morning. At last I've got all the clutter out and it can go back to being a place to relax and enjoy the garden!

Wow, some difference there Oma. I don’t remember being a fan.

Very overcast here, a lot of rain in the night. I am going to pop to the parade if I get a move on. I am going to DS and Dil’s for the night, they usually cook a lovely meal. Both their sons will be there too. GD and H will be here after lunch.

I am half way replacing plants in pots in the courtyard and still have a couple of borders to do. Had a visit from the fox family last evening again, they mop up the wire worms I throw out for the robins. They will be here soon asking where the worms have all gone.

Oma, Fuchsias can take a good cutting back especially if you want to keep them bushy. I love them and they like our soil, they don’t like it hot and dry although my DD has one that has grown very large and is in full sun. The GGC love to watch the bees on it.

Gemini, enjoy your Aqua. I can’t remember if you now have your table.

Nanto, I haven’t had gammon for years, my OH used to like it.

Daisy, I haven’t been able to use my sunroom much yet, it has either been too cold or I have been busy when it is warm. Sil is going to have a go at the weeds in the paving when he gets back, I may have to prompt him though, he is a grass and hedges man. Our grass, which is quite a considerable area is not really a lawn but Sil still likes to mow stripes in it. He has just bought a very posh extendable ladder to deal with the hedges.

Hallo everyone, wet and drizzle here today after a tropical temperature yesterday. I had to walk to pick my car up at 4pm, I don't mind the walk, it was so warm I felt ill!! 27 degrees after a frost last week!!

I have been for an echo for my shoulder, I must say she was very thorough. I knew it was worn, I have known that for 20 years or more, she was showing me how it all worked compared to a "good" shoulder, the muscles and the tendons have far too much strain on them, so, it will be one armed aqua from now on.

Oma, that is a difference in the Wagon Wheel size! These look more like "one bites"! I must be the same as you Oma with gammon, in fact I don't like anything sweet with meats etc.

I have been to do the coffee and the plants, the plants are all growing so well. I have been to the chemist for mascara for the GD's they were here on Sunday and I showed them a folder with an offer,-70% , only today, they wrote down what they used and I got them, me, I use a cheap mascara.

I want to get the pattern finished the trousers for GD1, with her being so tall the shop ones are far too short for her.

Daisy, the Dame used to also throw out a bottle of Newky Brown (Newcastle Brown Ale) each performance. Health and Safety put a stop to that some years ago but he still got away with the Wagon Wheels

They have definitely shrunk Oma! Don't you think everything has though? Mars bars, Kits Kats etc etc.

Lizzie, can anything be done for your shoulder?

Plant, we don't have the coffee table yet but it is there. We will collect it tomorrow.

It was a lovely fine morning. I went to aqua with no coat and OH got all the front hedge etc cut, just finishing as I got home.
As I parked on the drive the rain started, so we were both lucky!

TV snooker for OH now and I will go for GS2.

Gem, I could have dry needling or an injection in my shoulder, but, hope that with being careful I won't have so much pain. I can go again in a fortnight if it doesn't improve. I can do the tennis ball treatment myself at home.

                          It is pouring down here.

I have signed in for a workshop, cooking with more protein ! It is the same lady that is doing it as a workshop I went to a couple of years ago. It is organised by the place I do the coffee for.

                            I hope the treatment works,
That workshop sounds interesting , let us know how it goes.

As you say everything has shrunk.
I don’t eat Kit Kats normally but I bought a pk for GS not only shorter but thinner , at one time the thick chocolate was the best bit ,
Same with Club biscuits hardly any chocolate.

I have just cleaned all the windows up and down inside and all the mirrors except the big one in the dinning room it’s a pain to clean plus my Karcher needed charging again but the rest are now clean and sparkling.

Its still dry here and we have a bit of sunshine, the dogs flat out in the garden ,
Came in for his afternoon biscuit then went back out, he will be there till SIL picks him up if the day stays fine ,😁

Oma, I drove through terrible rain on the way to school this afternoon! I did take my raincoat and it had stopped by the time I got to school. I must ask OH if they had that rain here.
