Good Tuesday morning, everyone.

Nanto - I didn't see you take that photo of me in my pink fluffy slippers, and Eva seems to have shrunk a bit! . You've reminded me out kitchen needs a good clean, but I need to get dog food portioned up first.

It's sunny here after lots of rain overnight. Nothing much planned for me - just household stuff - but OH has to go to a funeral this morning. Hopefully this is the last one for a long time.

I wonder if Plant will have any baby news today?

It was a misty start to the day but the sun may be peeking through now.
GS1 day today. We are going out for lunch and to the cinema to see Kung Fu Panda 4. I haven't seen the first 3, but I'm sure I will pick it up.

We went to our shopping mall today , I needed Cards and I wanted to go into Sainsburys,
I only wanted a few things , came out with a load of shopping plus new coffee, tea,& sugar canisters ,
Two pairs of cotton PJ bottoms and a couple of vest like PJ tops ,
Oh and two Lindt chocolate bunnies for B to cheer him up 😁

Hes still feeling rough but not as bad as he was ,

We then went round to the Drs I had to take my sharp box in to be disposed of and make appointment for Dr.
This Dr is like getting blood out of a stone getting appointment for, but she offered me Thursday afternoon at 2 , I almost fainted with shock, I was expecting at least 3-4 weeks😁

Good morning. I was hoping to cut the grass today, but the weather says no.
If the, if the sun doesn't shine, it will be window cleaning.

Dinner is baby potatoes done in the air fryer, cod in breadcrumbs, veg and parsley sauce.

Aquafit this morning. I cant stay for coffee as we are going to Auntie G and taking her for lunch, so I need to get home, showered and changed.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. It's another wet one here. How much longer before we get some decent weather!

Dog training for me this afternoon. OH's Last of the Summer Wine Team have now moved to someone else's garage for fun under the bonnet, so he'll be out all day. I ope there's a bit of a break in the weather so I can take Eva out, but we may just have to get wet.

Oma, you know how to live - new kitchen cannisters and PJs! Goodness me. Still I'm sure B was pleased with his Lindt bunnies.

Nanto, the grass is growing fast, isn't it. Goodness knows when ours will be dry enough to cut it again.

Gem, have a lovely time with your Auntie G. Are you going to one of your regular haunts for lunch so trying somewhere new?

Baby born about 8am. DD and Sil were called out at 10pm to sit with the other children as expectant parents were off to the hospital. I don’t know much else as I imagine DD and Sil are in bed now. I will post more later.
DD just been in to show me a photo, he looks just like his brother. They left it a bit late to drive to the hospital and she almost had him in the car, nurses had to come out and put a drip in her arm. I would love to see the other children’s faces when they see him, hoping to be home today.

From there we went to the farm shop bought some nice minted lamb chops will have them with new potatoes I think .

Afternoon all

Yesterday J arrived to lay slabs in the garden and although it took most of the day he managed to finish just before a heavy burst of rain.
I now have a lovely path to the washing line but I have to wait two days before I can walk on it.
The only downsize is that the lawn has taking a bit of wear and tear but J said he would come one Sunday and help OH get the moss out and reseed it. He says he doesn't want paying, just provide plenty of cups of tea! As if I am going to let him give up his day off. I've already decided that I will get a gift for his 3 year old son .

Don't have much planned for today, just read a book while occasionally looking at the rain hammering on the window. Will it ever stop raining. I have lots of jobs to do outside!
We are having risotto for lunch. I like doing meals that can be cooked in one pan .
