Oma, it's always nice to hear about you getting a good night's sleep, although in my book getting up early enough to have all your housework done by 7am means you were up very early indeed. But then, I never have all my housework done!

Plant, I hate being woken up by the phone. I hope the board games afternoon was fun, and you got your bits of shopping done. Did you enjoy using your new sun room the other day?

Nanto, what cute furry friends in your graphic. Oooh, I haven't had dumplings for ages - and I love them. Did you get your washing dried indoors?

Lizzie, I think both your GDs are lucky to have such a great grandma. They obviously love spending time with you.

Gem, your back and shoulder massages must be doing you good. Do the bits that were painful feel sore now, or just relaxed? It's lovely that GD was happy to be taken to her session by S and saved you having to rush round immediately after our massage.

Yes, there was dog training this afternoon. Eva was a proper giddy kipper. She was so excited she could hardly do anything sensible for the first quarter of an hour. She was like an exuberant puppy who had never been to class before. Needless to say, she's now fast asleep!

Good morning. It's just said on the news that some areas had 19 degrees yesterday, Yorkshire didn't.

Yes Daisy, I got the washing dry inside.
Glad Eva enjoyed her dog training.

Gem,hope you feel good today after your massage yesterday.

We are having a pub meal today, looking forward to it.

A bit dull here this morning, hoping for some sunshine today.

            Good morning ladies.

            Enjoy your pub meal.

Baby E day here, he is on his way. He and his mummy and daddy are staying the night. I have to find time to print off everything for the library Friends AGM tomorrow morning as well!

              Good Thursday morning, everyone.

It was warm yesterday, but certainly not 19C here. This morning it's misty - feels more like Autumn than Spring.

Nanto, cute puppy and kitties. That was Eva yesterday - full of mischief! Enjoy your pub meal.

Gem, have a lovely day with Baby E. It sounds as though you have a busy day without even going out anywhere. Are E's mummy and daddy having tea with you as well?

I'm at home most of the day, and keen to get the window cleaning upstairs done. I'll take Eva over to DS2's later - we're out for the day tomorrow so she's having a sleep over with Cooper.

Fine this morning but not sunny. I need to pop to M&S food hall down the hill but they keep shutting roads out if the village, we shall see. No plans other than that. I am having a problem with my IPad, it keeps telling me it is full. I have cancelled a few but still not happy, I think I need a wiz kid to sort things out. My eldest GS who lives near could do it but they are expecting a baby in 2 weeks. Not sure if my DS could and the others live too far away.

Gemini, enjoy your day with smiley GS, will not be long before he gets on his feet.

Daisy, funny how E had a skittish day, perhaps it was the weather. Eva will enjoy her time with Cooper.

Nanto, enjoy your meal out, do you go to the same place to eat out.

Does SIL not know anything about iPads ?
If I didn’t have B either DD who is wiz with technology or GS1 to sort mine out .
It seems everywhere has roads closed or being dug up at the minute doesn’t it .
Hope you get to M&S .

                    Nanto
                    Sweet graphic 😁

                    Been to MILs ,
Well her good mood didn’t last, She complained about everything.
Martin got her a new door bell on Friday she doesn’t like the tone ,
                    Could B change it , had a look but it’s a set tone can’t be changed ,
I said it doesn’t matter what it sounds like as long as you can hear it.

Then she complained the Lasagna we took last week was too big a portion ,
Well just eat what you can it’s not a big deal but she wasn’t happy.

Took her home made soup and dumplings this morning ,
Two dumplings are too much take one home.
Its a bloody dumpling Im not taking it home just bin it πŸ™„

Put the other 3 meals in the freezer , she had quite a bit in there so won’t starve.
She then said she didn’t sleep well only got 7 hours , I wish only 7 hours was my not sleeping well 😁

It just went on and on so we only stayed a hour that was enough for today πŸ™„

Hallo everyone, it certainly is cooler than yesterday.

Oma, a shame your MIL is like she is.

Plant, I hope that you got your IPad sorted, a lady that goes to the pool asked me if the place that I do coffee at give iPad lessons, she has no idea at all, she said if her DH happens to die suddenly everything would be lost! I told her that she could try the computer class and heard this morning that she has been going there, I could have shown her, but, she is a bit too much for me!!!

It was coffee morning for the volunteers, I went for coffee before going on to a funeral, a man I have known for years, he has been in a home for the last 5 years and his daughter was saying how bad he was the last 2 years, sad! He was 83 years old, his wife died a few years ago. After the burial we all went to the church "hall" for lunch and a chat, I haven't seen the children for years so we had to catch up!

DS1 has just sent me some photo's of the garden.

Lizzie, the garden is beautiful. They just need some nice summer evenings to sit in it.

Daisy,we go to the same pub for our meal.
Sis in law is coeliac,so has to have gluten free food. They have quite a decent choice of gluten free on the menu.
We have checked with other places and they say they can't guarantee food will be gluten free, as all food is done in the same kitchen.

Oma, your MIL was her usual happy soul then.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oma, I know I've said it before, but you could definitely write a book about your MIL. She's got a gift (if that is the right word) for finding bizarre things to complain about. As for telling you to take a dumpling home -I laughed out loud. I have this picture of you sitting in the car, gently nursing one lonely, unwanted dumpling. Yes Cooper is still refusing to go in the car. He's had a couple of trips to the vets recently. Had to be lifted in (no mean feat, all 35kg of him) but, strangely when he came out of the vets he got back in the car with no trouble.

Plant, I agree about the roads. They're a nightmare! I hope you got to M&S Food Hall ok. It sounds as though your iPad has run out of memory. Photos and videos take up the most room, but you probably don't want to get rid of any of them. I presume you could buy some Cloud storage - I pay Β£2.99 a month for 200Gb of iCloud storage. I should think you can do the same with your iPad. It's exciting that the baby is due in just two weeks. How is mum keeping - I hope she's ok.

Nanto, when you find a pub you like it's worth going back to is, especially with your SiL's coeliac condition. She can have a lovely meal without worrying. What did you have today?

Lizzie, your DS's garden is amazing - it looks straight out of one of those very glossy magazines showing houses with at least 6 noughts in the price tag. The lighting will be perfect for a warm summer's evening. At least that lady has taken on board your suggestion about computer lessons.

Gem, I'm drooling at the thought of fish and chips.

Well, I got all the upstairs windows and mirrors cleaned except the landing and my study. I also spend a long time returned phone calls I'd missed over the last couple of days. I cooked lunch - jacket potatoes with chicken casserole and veggies. Then took Eva for a walk. She was very good and walked really nicely on the lead - which means she was still tired from yesterday. Mowed the lawn. More phone calls, then I took her over to Cooper's. They were so excited to see each other! I only had time for a quick 'hello' to the GDs - they were rushing round getting ready for karate, eating their teas, etc. Made us a sandwich and then OH went out to his wood-turning club.

Looking forward to our day out tomorrow to a Hawk Conservancy Trust. The weather doesn't look great, so I think it will be boots, warm coat and lots of layers! We'll probably pick Eva up on the way home.

                              Good morning.

Got a load of darks in the washer, looks like I might get them out for a blow.

Daisy, yesterday I had gammon and pineapple, hubby had scampi, sis in law and her hubby had gammon with fried egg. We all had jam sponge and custard for pudding.

No plans for me today, hubby out for a couple of hours.

                              Something fishy for dinner today.

DD3 is off to Munich this morning with friends. A taxi is picking her up in a while. SIL and baby will go home at some point. I'm quite busy today but OH is here all morning, they can stay as long as they want.

Library AGM this morning. This afternoon I am going to GS2's Easter service at the church near school, then picking him up at 2.20 today, and back here .
We are going out tonight for a friend's 60th.
