    Morning everyone
We have sun shine but it’s not supposed to last ,

    Nanto
We were saying the same so last night B had sweet and sour chicken not a favourite of mine so I had Mushrooms on toast and really enjoyed it,
A toss up between that and Salmon that I love but the mushrooms won😁

    Gem
If you have nothing to go out for have a day in then your rested for your lovely meal out,
    What do you normally order?

    Daisy
I wouldn’t like to tackle your Js garage or shed if it’s anything like Bs , I look around the door and close it again 😁

Ive had a good dust and polish , sanitised the door handles and the work tops ,
Gave the toaster a clean out .
Did a dark load and got them dried
Put towels in the wash and cleaned bathroom after our showers , then while I hand washed a bra B hoovered right through and the stairs
So now I’m sitting on here with a cup of tea.

Was up during night then at the crack of dawn , one of those nights Again.

I need to go out to get some bits of shopping from the parade. It has been raining but it has stopped now. I took some fish out of the freezer to make some fish pies. Apart from that no other plans. It is milder but it has been raining. Drew the curtains this morning and saw a Green Woodpecker digging in the grass, haven’t seen one for ages.

Gemini, Enjoy your meal, it sounds good. So pleased that with some help, your DD was able to get her car home. I hope the damage isn’t too bad.

Nanto, I see we are both eating fish today.

Gemini, don’t you and B know it is Sunday, definitely no housework. I like mushrooms on toast, not had them lately, my GD1 can’t stand mushrooms in any form. Sorry to hear you had a bad night, nanny nap on the cards today.

Oh how lovely to see a Woodpecker Plant ,
We have seen the odd one but not for a long time ,
There is a little Robin sitting on our fence at the moment he won’t be there long when the big birds come ,

Good Sunday morning, everyone. It's at least 10C warmer here than yesterday, and the sun's out - for now. I've been going round the house flinging windows open.

A friend's coming over for coffee so I just need to sort the kitchen out - I'm re-organising it.

There is a flock of green woodpeckers just down the road from us, but they never venture up here. We quite often see greater spotted woodpeckers though.

Gem, enjoy your Chinese this evening - it sounds lovely.

Oma, I love mushrooms on toast - that or tinned tomatoes on toast are my go-to if OH is out for an evening meal.

Nanto, I think that graphic is very cheery - sunshine even through rain is good at the moment.

Plant, I hope the rain keeps off while you shop. My DS1 and GS2 can't stand mushrooms, but both DIL and I sneak them into some dishes if we can.

Lovely and sunny here too! Rain and high winds forecast later so I think we may be driving to the restaurant.

Oma I have trouble deciding what to order as it's such a varied menu! It's Cantonese and there are a lot of extra dishes you wouldn't see on a typical Chinese menu.

Speaking of Birds, ladies, it will be the Bird Watch soon. OH usually does that .

Daisy , OH and I both love mushrooms. It's hard to imagine people disliking them isn't it?!

Just got back from shopping, it is a lovely Spring day but not to last apparently. DD and Sil have just put their walking boots on, a walk to a pub is probably on.

                  Good Afternoon, just.
Warmer here as well. We have just been out with the dog. The world and his wife were out too!
We have had a green woodpecker in our garden too, but not recently. The Magpies from next door’s conifers are nesting I think, so much in evidence, hence not too many other birds about. Such a shame.
Fish pie sounds delicious Plant, so does salmon. I love mushrooms but can’t eat them since I had my internal plumbing reorganised. It’s like grapefruit, my favourite fruit but apparently it interferes with my BP medication. 🙄
I shall now attempt to mend the blind in the bedroom as it is jammed shut! I did mention it to OH 3 days ago, but nothing has happened.
                  Have a good day ladies.

Speaking of mushrooms, hubby had never had them before he met me.
I think he is the only one out of all the siblings that likes them.
Both of our boys eat them as well.

Still feels cold here to me. The wind is making it cold.
Keeps showering on and off as well.

GM, i can't have grapefruit either because of BP meds. its no loss,i'm not fond of them anyway.

We like grapefruit too but can’t eat it because of BP meds but once in a while we throw caution to the wind and have half a one each 😁

Its raining and dark here now everything looks so grey , yuk

Me too with the grapefruit. I used to love ruby grapefruit juice in the morning but had to give up years ago .

It's certainly getting windy here now. I expect we're all going to have a noisy night with the storm.

I love grapefruit as well - but off the menu for the same reasons. Oma, we occasionally have a sneaky one. I like ruby grapefruit but my favourites are Sweetie Grapefruit, but they have a very short season.

Gem, I hope the weather hasn't upset your plans for tonight.

I seem to have had a busy day. I got a few loads of washing done this morning - whites, towels and darks. The friend stayed for about an hour so we had a coffee and a good catch up. I cleaned out the tumble dryer metal thingy (the condenser?) It's surprising how much fluff, dog hair and unidentifiable bits were in there. But it made me feel very virtuous.

I cooked 2 whole bream for dinner and OH and I had an interesting time picking out all the bones. It tasted lovely, but needed care!

I'm glad you both avoided all the bones Daisy!

Thanks Oma. So thoughtful of Glamma's DD to take the time to post to us .

It's pretty rainy and windy but it wasn't as bad when we went out. It's only a couple of minutes drive and we were lucky enough to get a parking space right outside the restaurant. Lovely meal and our friend whose first visit it was, enjoyed it.

I have to be out early to collect GS1 and take him to school tomorrow but according to the forecast the weather should be calm then
