We went to get our jab after lunch but turned back ,
It was just a drop in session and the queue for them opening was ridiculous,
We have appointments for the 2nd of October but as this was just more or less across the road to us and no appointment needed we thought we would go there .
Cars we’re parked all along the grass verge the large car park was full and people were snaked all around the building .

We will just wait and keep our appointments in October ,

A sad day as we say goodbye to the Queen.

Its drizzling here this morning.

Braising steak,onions and mushrooms in the slow cooker. We will have it with mashed potatoes.

Not posted before as I have, like you, been watching the funeral. what a spectical! GD1 and baby H popped in to see me as the family are away. GD1 and her OH popped to Windsor yesterday and left some flowers on the route.

I watched the funeral. Must be honest and say i didn't like the hymns.
The Psalm 23 wasn't too bad.

Hubby didn't watch it,he went to help another brother.

We spent most of the day watching the funeral footage. Even when our friends came this afternoon we all had half an eye on it .


DD3 and baby are coming for the day tomorrow, so I may not be online much until the evening.

The only part I thought was dreadful was the organ music as they left ,
it wasn’t music it was just very loud annoying noise like a child holding its hands down on the keys ,
Whoever chose that should have a talking too .

Security must have finally breathed a sigh of relief after it was all over .

Feels Autumnal,but it dry and bright.

Hubby out this morning.First job for me is cleaning the bathroom.

Chips and fish fingers today,both will be done in the air fryer,beans will be done in the microwave.

I'm not having reflexology now. My reflexologist's little boy has an ear infection and is going to the Dr. So DD3 and baby will have my full attention all day!
