Hairdresser coming today between 9.30 and 10.

Hubby got a bit of finishing of to do where the pipework was changed for the new boiler.

Good morning, it is very wet and windy! I won't be doing much today, no plans, I will see what the day brings.

Good morning Nan2 and Lizzie. It seems we all have the same weather!
Good morning everyone else, I hope you have better weather!

We are a bit worried as we haven't seen out cat Henry since yesterday evening, It wasn't raining when he went out but it started and we were unable to find him. We hoped he would have come in overnight but still no sign. He is 19 so it's a worry.

DD1 has a hospital appointment this morning. I offered to go with her, but as she has been told I wouldn't be able to go into the department with her, she sees no point in me waiting in the cafe. She will phone me afterwards.
OH is going to see the snooker at The Barbican today. Now I won't be with DD I can drop her off.
Mum visit this afternoon, then I will be back at the care home at 6 for the relatives meeting. To save me driving all the way home to go back I will go to DD2's. DD is away with work but SIL and the children will be in. I can drop GD off for her dance class just around the corner, so it works out well.

Dark and dismal day for us, I am expecting a face time from GD1 inviting me to do something with her and H today. I had a busy day yesterday, could do with being at home but I can’t say no.

Nanto, I live in a bungalow so no understairs cupboard here as storage.

THE CAT IS BACK!!

As I suspected he must have gone into next door's garage, possiblity to shelter from the rain, or to look for his friend Charlie who lives next door. Then got shut in all night. I asked our neighbour to check and out he walked! Straight onto the garden for a wee, then in, where he will hopefully stay!

Good morning one and all. I don't know whether I should tell you this or not - the sun's shining here in a clear blue sky. We've had lots of rain, but right now it's beautiful. I'll take Eva out in the Forest later.

Gem, I do hope DD's hospital appointment goes well, and very pleased Henry is back. You can't help worrying about them at any age, but he's a grand old man, isn't he. I should think you almost need a spreadsheet to organise such a complicated day and make it work so well. I hope S enjoys the snooker. My OH likes watching it but it certainly gobbles up time.

Nanto and Oma, you will both be glamorous today! Keep out of the rain.

Plant, I hope you can get some time to relax today after your busy day yesterday. I know it's great to see little H, but you do need to look after yourself sometimes as well. Take care.

If the ground dries up a bit I'll do some gardening today. We should have been going on a walk for Children in Need but when the weather was so awful we decided to send a donation instead. It's quite a hilly walk and I think it will be quite boggy in parts, so not easy to walk Eva, and 5 or 6 miles wearing wellies isn't for me!

When I came out of hairdressers I was lucky it was just a very short sprint across the path to the car ,
The rain was coming down in sheets ,
The car next to us the lady got our to go into the hairdressers with a huge golfing brolly ,
She was well prepared 😁

GD working today so baby H was next door, went in for a short while, she was in a very cheerful cheeky mood. My decorator just called in, he is going to start decorating my kitchen next week. I managed to get him to come at 9am, 8.30 start is a bit early for me. He has been doing my decorating for years, such a nice man.

Oma, I certainly am a soft touch where the GC are concerned as you are too, they give so much back. GS3 is back from London tomorrow for the weekend and I am going with DD and OH to visit GS2 in North London on Sunday.

Well i thought it was never going to stop raining, but it did about ½ an hour ago.

It just hasn’t stopped raining very hard all day ,
We popped to Asda at our shopping centre and just going back to car we got absolutely soaked.

MyHairdresser has just popped in for a cup of tea , she was passing so thought she would call in ,
My cheeks ache we laughed so much , she’s so lovely and funny.
