How lovely, getting a kiss from H. It's a difficult juggling act when both parents work, and these days that is more often the case than not.

One of my BILs got fined £60 for dropping a cigarette butt. He had flicked it into one of those bins with holes in the side, but it was windy and it blew away. He was fined on the spot, despite the fact that it was an accident and he was already moving round the bin to pick it up!

We have McDonalds and Kentucky fried chicken close by , the litter they create is shocking
People in cars will drive down the highway and just throw there boxes bags drinks out of the windows 😡

Then GS1 called in for GD to check his tyre pressure with him and his oil etc just to make sure he did it right .
We then went to DD to see her new summer house and shed combo ,
They have boarded and insulated Sides ,roof and floor , SIL put flooring down it’s looking lovely.

Came home we had lunch I put TV on next thing I knew it was a hour later I had fallen asleep on the chair 🙄

B has BBQ chicken casserole in the oven it smells lovely

Enfys, we love to hear from you and hope you keep in touch. It is totally understandable that at times you find it hard.
Plant I was never happy when any of my GC had to go to a childminder or nursery, but they were fine. I'm sure H will be too. How sweet that she was kissing !

Well I was in agony after my knee injection yesterday morning He injected the front of the knee. It was painful all day and it still hurts to go upstairs. It's not uncommon apparently, so hopefully it will wear off.
The library meeting was good. I will post about that later.

We had planned a day out with all 3 GC today. Then GD was invited to London with her friend and friend's mum. Then the forecast was awful for what we had planned. Then last night I heard from DD1 that GS1 had had enough of being with GS2 lately! They were together all day Sunday and Monday..GS2 always wants to be with GS1, GS1 wants to be with GD!! We agreed that he would go home today after his sleepover, as it is his usual day with his dad. The boys had the morning together. GS1 was collected and we took GS2 out for lunch. I bought him a magazine. £5.99, I was shocked!!
We have had a lovely afternoon. Drawing, crafting, stories and cuddles!
Off to do his tea now.

Good news - baby GS3 has finally regained his birthweight and a lot more! I will update that thread tonight

Gem - that injection sounds very painful. I hope it's getting better now. It's difficult sometimes to keep younger children happy when there is a few years difference in age, but I think you got the best solution today. Children's magazine prices are crazy!

Oma - that summerhouse looks palatial! It certainly puts my very utilitarian one to shame. It sounds as though GD1 is well-prepared for his trip to the Leeds Festival. Does he go tomorrow? How was the casserole?

Dog training was hot this afternoon. There is almost nil ventilation in the hall (one fanlight window), and the noise of two huge fans was distracting for me, never mind the poor dogs. Still, we played a couple of new games and they had fun.

GoodThursday morning, everyone. It's just stopped raining here, but not cold.

We had an early start - OH had to take his car into the garage to get the rear screen washer mended so I went to give him a lift back. It will be ready sometime this afternoon, hopefully.

It's my GD1's 12th birthday today. How did that happen, she was just a toddler last time I looked! We're popping over to say happy birthday and deliver her card and presents in a minute.

I hope Gem and Oma behave themselves. Most of us know what they are like when they get together! xx
