Oma - what a gorgeous, super-smiley little chap he is. No sign of that rocky start is there. xx

Gem - I'm so glad you've had another happy day at the seaside today. It would be lovely to hear more about it when you have time. Nine o'clock does seem early to me these days, but I hope you enjoy the class and aren't too tired going on to DD3's. I hope things are going better for her. I'm sure everyone will join me in sending our love and best wishes. xxx

Good morning Nan2, enjoy your trip to town.
            Good morning ladies.

Daisy, I will update on DD3 soon, it's just all been more of the same so I don't want to keep going over it! They have more appointments tomorrow so I will update after that. I will see how things are today.

How nice GS coming for lunch Oma.

I will be back this evening hopefully

Oma, what has GS requested for lunch?

No babies today for DD and Sil. Harriet is strange with her talking, she understands everything you say but we only catch the occasional word. Her mother was a very slow talker until they realised she had a hearing problem but there is not much wrong with Hโ€™s hearing. Another sunny start, I must do some ironing. A very quiet social week this week.

Gemini, I hope your DD will be feeling more comfortable soon.

Nanto, I forget to press that final button sometimes and find my post still there.

Plant he has asked for Lasagna with extra cheesy sauce ,
B has made it and extra for our tea minus too much cheese for me ,
im not a lover of pasta or cheese and I hate garlic but I do like Bs lasagna as he knows what I like and donโ€™t like .

GS1 wasnโ€™t a early talker , GS2 from 18 month you couldnโ€™t shut him up , they all develop at their own pace Dont they ,
Baby H is taking all in and will talk when she needs too I bet ๐Ÿ˜

Good Monday morning everyone. It's dull, drizzly and cooler here, but at least the garden is starting to recover a bit.

Nanto - I hope your trip to town was successful.

Plant - your DD and SIL are very busy with babies, so perhaps they will welcome a day to themselves. I'm sure H will soon find her voice, and then it will be non-stop chatter. As Oma says, they all go at their own pace.

Oma - the lasagna sounds delicious - I'll pop round at tea time if that's ok!

Like Plant, we've got a very quiet social week. Probably as well after last week's busyness. It's GD1's birthday on Thursday, and DS1 has a hospital appointment tomorrow, but nothing else on the calendar. I really ought to pull my socks up and get some housework done. Maybe!

I have done the rounds this morning, Went to charity shop but they are not taking goods today so that is still in the boot. Next the card shop for a birthday card for GD2 on Friday and a wedding card for later in Sept. Stopped for a snack and a coffee, bought some light bulbs, new lightweight kettle, a gadget for opening ring pulls etc and a small Pyrex measuring jug. Bumped into a Guiding friend who told me she was 90 and called for petrol on the way home. Warm but very overcast today.

Oma, love lasagne, can I pop round too?

On our way back to the car,we called at our favourite cafe for coffee.

Guess who was the bright spark who said "Walkies" - just 30 SECONDS before the heavens opened! There is no possibility of persuading Eva at that stage that 'walkies' is a bad idea. At least we hadn't left the house, so I was able to dig in the back of the wardrobe for a mac (for me not Eva!). Did someone say rain was good for the complexion? I'm just waiting for it to work!!

Hallo everyone, a late posting today! No rain here Daisy, very hot all week and maybe rain on Saturday.

I have been to the Ikea with the girls, I was quite impressed with the chicken salad, it was really good. The girls had the traditional Swedish meat balls, it is meat ball week so it was 2 meals for the price of 1! it wasn't really busy in the restaurant when we were there, mind you, it is massive, as GD2 said, the whole place is massive! It is the flagship store for Europe so gets all the new stock in etc, there is even a hotel for the staff that go there for training.

I did see the photo's of Fin Oma, they do seem to grow so fast, he is lovely.xxx The lasagna does sound good, I went to DS1 for a meal last night, DIL is a very good cook and always does something different, it was pasta with a mushroom sauce, very tasty.

Gem, I am pleased you had a good family day out.

Plant, you were busy shopping. I think some babies talk far earlier than others, it doesn't seem to slow them down any though.

I may have a walk when it cools down.

I have had a delivery from Hello Fresh today and as I have three meals, I needed to prepare the fish one first. I do not think I will order it again or if I do I will only order the one pan meal. The main reason I will probably not order it again is because of the amount of packing to re-cycle a good half cannot be recycled and I have finished up with a large cardboard box and some blanket type packing besides the non cycling items.

I find Amazon are like that , there is no need for all the packing on some items ,
Even worse when some of your stuff is unable to be recycled .

                              Lizzie
We love the meat balls , I always have a bag in the freezer all the GC ask for them when they visit ,
Both GSs like them with Pasta and tomato sauce GD likes them plain with chips ๐Ÿ˜
GS1 enjoyed his lasagna, we had some for tea ,
I didnโ€™t eat much of it it doesnโ€™t float my boat as Iโ€™m not a lover of pasta ,

                              Daisy
Eva wonโ€™t be bothered your wet ๐Ÿ˜ as long as she enjoyed it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

window cleaner came , paid him he hadnโ€™t been out of the street 5 minutes when it rained ๐Ÿ™„

itโ€™s still damp but we have doors and windows open itโ€™s so stuffy

Daisy I got wet too, on a walk with DD and the baby. I had no coat!

Lizzie and Oma, I love the IKEA meatballs. I get the veggie ones as the meat contain beef as well as pork.

I spent lots of time with baby E today. I gave him a bottle had lots of cuddles and took him for a walk
Here is a photo of him enjoying the baby gym we bought him. He spent over 40 minutes just staring intently at it all this afternoon. I only picked him up because he had hiccups, who knows how long he would have spent there! Excuse his hair. All the baby hair is coming off and and new hair is growing

Another busy day tomorrow, with an appointment at 8.50, then round to DD1's to collect GS1. He will be here all day and staying overnight. I have a meeting to go to at 5.30, OH will look after GS. I will be online at some point!

                                Goodnight everyone.
