Well the Fridge didn't turn up
B tried phoning 4 times to see what time they were coming and no reply and they said their voice mail was full .

He rang Euronic's who we ordered it through , they couldn't get a reply either on any of the numbers they had ,
Its a small independent place it was being supplied from
so they have issued a refund and we are back to searching for one

How annoying Oma. What is it with all these people who don't turn up?!!

I have had quite a productive afternoon. I got my Minutes into a more concise form ready for typing out and sending out after my holiday. I cleaned the fridge and thew out anything which needed it, made a jelly for GD for tomorrow, and changed the monthly filter on the water jug.
OH is ironing, her speciality. I am going to hoover upstairs soon, tea break now.

Plant, FIL is doing ok.
Haven't seen him today,but we rang him this morning.
He was feeling a bit sad because today would have been her birthday.
Hubby spoke to him about an hour ago, and dad was feeling a bit cheerier.

Oma - nothing's straightforward these days, is it! I'm glad you haven't got to get a new oven as well as a fridge! I hope you find another fridge quickly. For the first time ever I bought some trainers online on Tuesday. Yesterday the firm cancelled my order and are sending a refund (in 5-7 working days!)

Gem - glad the meeting went well and safely. I hope your eye gets better quickly.

Plant - is Oma right about not being able to plant your wallflowers?

We got a fair bit of gardening done this morning, mostly tidying up and mulching at the front, but this afternoon has been wetter, and we're both tired. My shoulder and arm are really painful and I'm sitting here with one of those heat pad thingies to try and ease it.

Must get on with the Sainsbury's order, too.

Got up at 4.30 and it was pouring with rain.It's eased off a bit now.

Beef and veggies in slow cooker,so thats our dinner sorted.

Good morning Nanto and all who drop in later. Sorry our posts crossed yesterday, Nanto, but I think FIL is doing very well. Yesterday must have been a bit difficult for him with it being mam's birthday. I think you're doing a good job of keeping his spirits up.

We've had rain overnight and what passes for our lawn is looking more and more like a mud bath! I don't think we'll be gardening today. OH has got a tip slot for 9.30, which means leaving about 8.45, Sainsburys are due 8.30-9,30 and it's bins day, so I'd better get a move on. I'll be back later. xx

I have been to the sports school and enjoyed it, just the group I was with for a few years so we had a catch up! I wasn't keen after the lockdown with all the younger ones. I managed 10 minutes walking on the tread mill with the new soles in so they help.

Gem, how is your eye? I hope it is better for you going away.

Well done going to the gym Lizzie.
Its still red looking Lizzie! Not madly itching and constantly watering as it was before the treatment, so it has improved. Part of me wonders if the cream itself is irritating it, but as it is antibiotic you are meant to finish the 5 day course. I will continue until tomorrow morning then see if it improves.

Today OH is doing the shopping for the four of us for the boat trip. I have reflexology this morning, and the two school run this afternoon for GD and GS2.

Nanto thank goodness for slow cookers , We did a Chicken casserole in ours yesterday not having a working oven
Mince with dumplings in ours today .

B has a tooth extraction this morning and I have Dr ringing with scan results , not sure if we will go shopping after lunch see how he feels

I have been reading and trying to keep up!
It’s been a funny old week here In Grauntie Mansions. I purchased a hand mixer from Amazon and had an email from seller asking me to give good feedback. My reward would be electronic scales! I certainly didn’t expect to receive any, and to date I have received 2!
Hospital scan appointment for yesterday which was cancelled was re-enstated, and Ryanair have refunded our flight money!!!
New neighbours for us this weekend, we were so sorry to see the previous couple go, but we will keep in touch.
Logs have been delivered (8am.😬) so stacking them into the store will be the first job today.
Dark and raining here.

Daisy, sorry to hear about your shoulder, is it caused by all that raking? I can plant my wallflowers when we have a day I fancy being out in the garden.

Lizzie, as Oma says, don’t overdo the exercises, take it gently.

My Aqua teacher was unwell yesterday but we were welcome to use the pool. Only four members turned up and it was good. Did some swimming and exercise of the body and the tongue. Just some food shopping for me today, I am going to M&S Food Hall just down the hill as there are roadworks on the road to Waitrose.

Oma, I hope the tooth extraction goes okay for B, not a pleasant job. I hope the scan results are okay.

Grauntie, I have never heard of anyone being rewarded for positive review on Amazon. It's a bit dodgy as in some people would review positive to receive the free gift maybe?
Plant I'm glad they let you use the pool even though the class was cancelled.
Lizzie I will show GS2 that video, I think he will like that.

My reflexology treatment was quite painful. It shows I am generally out of balance and hopefully it will help.
Very windy and sunny here.
