    Morning Nanto / Ladies
Nanto I do love the graphic made me go Awww

Weather is the same here dreary drizzly and dark

Not much on today , I have just washed my Glass coffee jugs ,
I have 3 on a glass shelf in the kitchen and they don't really get used much only when we have company and need more than one cup, or B wants fresh ground coffee ,
They still collect dust and grease though
Scares the life out of me washing them they always feel like they are going to break .

We also have a Glass sweetie jar on the worktop B keeps all his boiled sweets in ( I don't eat them ) it gets very sticky but it seems easier to wash its delicate but easier to get into .

Not much on today I will see what it brings

Good morning everyone. It's dull here as well, but not cold. I'm just thankful it's dry so the garden work isn't disrupted.

Nanto and your cuddly friends - hello. You'll need that warm drink after tidying out FIL's freezer.

Oma - I've got some glass storage jars like that. They feel very flimsy. I've had them donkeys years but somehow they survive. I almost wish they wouldn't!!

I haven't got the GDs or Cooper today, so an unexpected free day to catch up on a few things.

Good morning Nan2, Oma and everyone else.
It looks as though it rained all night long!

Nan2, I'm sure it will help your FIL having you going round so often. When my dad died mum didn't want to leave her home to stay with us or anyone else, but did appreciate a lot of support and visits to her at home.

I am having reflexology this morning. I could do with doing a little housework too and as it will probably be a dull day, no excuse not to get on with it.
I will see Daisy in the GransRus Attic too, to sort some things out

        Have a good day everybody.

I have a few errands to run today, so I need to get a move on. Stayed up late to watch the tennis on Prime, must check to see if Andy Murray won his match, it was very exciting was tempted to stay till the end. My excema still hasn’t cleared up, I will have to fill in that awful on-line questionnaire to find out if they can prescribe something else.

Newsletter received Gemini, you and Daisy are stars trying to keep us on track. Enjoy your reflexology this morning.

Nanto, love the graphic. I am sure your Fil appreciates you and your OH keeping an eye on him.

Daisy, I have sent you a message, at least I think I have.

Good morning, lovely and sunny here, I have been for strawberries and taken some to DS1, trying the bike out, not my style but will get me where I want to go, a very low instep, for 80+++years olds.

I am waiting for new sheets etc to be delivered, this mattress is deep and the other I had was a topper so nothing fits.

Nanto, your FIL will enjoy having you visiting and helping him.

Daisy, you should get a lot done today without the dogs playing around you.

My foot is playing up, I will have to make an appointment for new soles and see if that helps.

Plant - many thanks. I've replied to your message. xx You've probably seen the results of the tennis by now. It sounds as though it was a great match. Excema seems to be one of those things that are hard to get rid of. Does yours itch a lot?

Lizzie - you are certainly getting lots of different bikes to ride at the moment. That does look very low to the ground. What a lovely clock - I do like to see 'proper' numbers on a clock rather than Roman numerals.

Gem - I bet you're all nicely relaxed after your Reflexology. All ready for another day in the GRU Attic!!

I enjoyed my reflexology, and catching up with my reflexologist. It was quite painful in areas, so I needed it!
I am taking my BP this week to send the results into the surgery. So far it is much lower than when I had to take it for my BP review. As I suspected all the stress of the man attacking mums front garden plus the solicitors saying they couldn't find the house deeds had sent it up.

Lizzie, the clock is a lot like ours in the hallway. I'll take a photo.
I hope they can sort out the eczema Plant.

Liking the clock Lizzie, looks very similar to one dad has.

Gem, hope the BP has settled down.

This is the part windmill where the clock man lives, it is a popular location for wedding photo's etc.

Nan2 my BP seems fine this week. I am taking it twice a day for a week then averaging it up and sending the results in as it was high when I took it for my BP reviews a couple of weeks ago.

Lizzie - what an amazing building. Is it common for old windmills to be changed like that? Is it a thatched or shingle roof? Or an ordinary tiled one? What a lovely backdrop for photos.

Gem - I'm sure all the stress you were under with your mum's house would have sent your BP rocketing. I'm glad it's back to a better level now.

Ladies, it's time to say Goodbye to this Chat Box. It's served us well during a difficult, turbulent year, and you will still be able to read and look back on it whenever you like.

Thank you for all your contributions, and our apologies if we've missed anything along the way. Hopefully the new layout will make that less likely and more people will be able to join in with the conversations.

From tomorrow The Daily Drop-in takes over for general greetings and everyday happenings. If you're not sure where to post your non-routine chats, news or information please use THIS AND THAT for the time being while we are beavering away in the Granny attic.

                            Good night, sweet dreams
