Good morning one and all.

Nanto - where on earth did you get that picture of me from - the one on the right in your graphic! I could see the stars this morning, too, but thank goodness it wasn't frosty. Yummy - I love lemon drizzle cake - can I pop round straight away.


Clover - I hope your scan goes well. Will you get the results straight away?

Enfys - it was sensible to change P's diabetic check. Whichever of you drove would have been a worry for the other one. I'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit less sore but don't overdo it in the garden. It's a lovely sunny day so some fresh air will be nice.

We had an early start this morning. OH was taking some boxes of stationery into both GDs' schools so he also took the girls to school and then came and picked me and Cooper up from their house. It was the first time Cooper had been in OH's car and he snuggled down in the back (boot) quite happily. It makes life so much easier when a dog travels happily in the car!

Nana - oh dear, it sounds as though us de-clutterers have started something.

I might try and do a bit of gardening today - fine days have to be treasured at this time of the year.

Had a lovely time at the hairdressers , my hairdresser and I have a right good giggle , she also cuts my DD's hair and my Friend D's hair , Plus GS1 goes there , We have all been going for years so know her well
They have just moved into a new huge property that used to be a pub , its very up market now Coffee bar and Gin Bar huge Chandeliers the lot , all the top equipment , no doubt prices will rise at some point ,

We having a second Freezer delivered on Thursday and only place we can put it is in Cupboard under the stairs , so been having new sockets put in there today , we have one in but my Dyson stick is plugged into that one

Got a headache didn't sleep well last night so eyes are sore .

Sorry, I seem to have missed reading some posts! I promise I wasn't ignoring people on purpose.

I've just realised we're nearly out of bread, so ` quick dash to the kitchen to throw the ingredients into the bread maker, and then it's off to collect the GDs. The usual Tuesday tussle against the clock - back home, quick sandwich and then off to dog training. Why does everything seem so much harder when it's dark at night!

Everyone is busy busy.

After dinner i went out and cut the grass, we thought we would take advantage of the good weather.
When i had finished,hubby served up tea and lemon drizzle cake.
Cake was lovely,even though i say so myself. Hubby thought it was lovely as well,and he's more of a pastry lover.
Just had a relaxing shower so my batteries are recharged.

Oma, i don't know what i'd do without our second freezer.

Lovely Autumn day here, spent some time this afternoon scraping moss out of the paving in the courtyard. It was really lovely out there. Oma, we play in a team most weeks depending how many people turn up. My opponent was not on form so I was able to take advantage and score for my team.

That was a good idea Enfys changing your OH's appointment, I am sure a week later will not make any difference and will give you a chance to feel stronger. That must have been a nasty tumble.

Lemon drizzle is a favourite cake of mine Nanto.

Is it this weekend we change the clocks? It will be darker earlier, I don't like that.

I hope your headache goes Oma. Yes it is the same friend we were talking about. Things are a lot better for her but still not right.
Well done getting the grass cut Nan2. Our garden is still too boggy.

Clover I hope that your scan went ok. When do you get the results? Enfys you must have fallen really hard. Take care not to do too much too soon. Plant well done. Oma...looking all glam now eh?

Physio made a splint for me & showed me how to wrap up & cushion my finger with some stretchy tape. Osteoarthritis. I woke at 5am & couldn't get back to sleep, so I'm struggling to stay awake now. Day with brother was lovely as usual. 😘

Nana I have a splint I should wear on a night to support my fingers. It's a fetching white with shocking pink velcro straps. It does work and relieves the pain but it don't half make my hand and fingers sweat so I wake up and take it off. I hardly use it to be honest. But I will put it on on bad days. Naughty I know

It will be dark at this time next week,after changing the clocks.

2nd visit of the week to in laws this morning.
Hubby will be coming round later to lay some artificial grass for them.

He doesn't need me to hold his hand he will go in himself now , he's getting a brave boy , at one time he would not go without me being there holding onto me for dear life

Good morning one and all. How is everyone this morning?

It's a bit dull but at least it's dry here this morning. I'm off to the hairdressers in a bit followed by a bit of shopping - exciting things like an Adaptil refill (it's supposed to help calm down nervous dogs so need to get it going now before the fireworks start frightening her. One big advantage I've found growing my hair is it only needs an occasional trim instead of every 6 weeks.

It it's still fine when I get back I want to tackle a few jobs in the garden, if not I'll carry on with my Big Sort Out. What an exciting day ahead.

Oma - I hope B is ok at the dentist. I hope you'll have got a treat for him for being such a brave lad.

Plant - nice to hear of your bowls successes. Is your courtyard nice and sheltered? I imagine it's the sort of place you can sit out on a sunny autumn day and pretend you're in the south of France.

Nanto - cute graphic. It should be lighter in the mornings for a little while when the clocks go back, but darker earlier in the evenings. But either way, we're heading for the dismal part of the year.

Nice and bright here too Nan2. I'm not looking forward to the clocks changing!
It's interesting how many men are afraid of dentists. Oma. My friend P is like that but getting a bit better. My ex OH would go years between appointments at times!
I'm not telling my OH about all your sorting out Daisy. She woudl like us to get on with a lot more!

A reflexology treatment for me this morning.
A free day for me after that. I have minutes to type for last weeks meeting, and of course there is always the lovely ironing!

Ha Ha Dentist for me at 12.00, but just to fit a crown on a back tooth but I was an hour in the chair preparing it. I was left traumatized as a child after visiting the school dentist. I have a young lady dentist, I like her very much, was not keen on her brother, she has two brothers both private only dentists now.

I will poke my nose into some shops whilst in the town, try hard not to buy anything. I would like a pair of check trousers but I have been hemorrhaging money recently and still have some more jobs to get done, such as blocked down pipes. Someone is coming next month to fix that I hope. Once you start you don't know where to stop. Funnily enough Daisy we don't sit in the courtyard, it is quite large, can get very hot.


Lovely for you to have a free day Gemini, doesn't happen very often so enjoy.

Hope all the aches and pains are feeling a bit better Enfys.
