Very warm again,but i think its going to be cooler than yesterday.
We had the ceiling fan on all night in the bedroom.
Breakfast was enjoyed on the patio.

Not sure where to go this morning , its between the Fish Quay to get fresh fish for freezer or the garden centre , I need flowers to put in place of my Lily pots that have finished flowering . Think the garden centre might win

Did everyone sleep ok ?

I was so exhausted I was in bed by 10 and slept till 5 I sort of heard a house alarm going off and woke for a few seconds but went straight back to sleep , B said it went on for quite a while , I was so tired I didn't take any notice .

DD called in last night with some lovely flowers a little posy from Storm she,s been off all week so we haven't had him and GS1 still in Ireland ( not France like I thought ) with football club, they playing all week , so far they have only lost 1 game , GS1 has scored 4 goals so hes happy

Cloudy here but still warm, I am giving the garden a good soak. Not sure what the forecast is for us today. I am at a meeting of our National Trust Group this evening, then straight onto DS and Dil's for two nights, they only live 20mins away. I don't need to shop for food etc. as I will not be here. Family enjoying their holiday but GD1 has a throat infection again, the hospital in Portugal gave her antibiotic intravenously. That is the third bacterial infection she has had this year. Her boyfriend is flying out this evening from Bournemouth to join them for just one day, mad fool but the flight is very cheap.

Must go and have a shower, will pop back later.

Went to local garden centre , what they had in were poor quality , we did however call into their new Artisan Bakery and bought a lovely Sour dough loaf , expensive but the smell was irresistible , we also bought some iced fingers just been made and iced

Will pop to other garden centre later see if they have anything ,

Plant poor GD doe she still have her tonsils ? could they be the problem ,
Its very stuffy but overcast we could do with a thunder storm ,

Oma - well done to GS1 - he's doing very well with his new team. Clever Storm, and what lovely flowers. I bet he's not enjoying this hot weather. Mmmmm .... I love sour dough bread, and iced fingers. You might find me on your doorstep any minute now! You did well to sleep for so long. I only woke up once but we didn't go to bed until midnight when some neighbours stopped partying in their garden.

Plant - enjoy your little trip to DS and DIL's. Poor GD1 getting a throat infection on holiday. Hopefully her boyfriend's arrival will cheer her up. I love flying from Bournemouth - it's so civilised!

After a slow start, I've managed to cut the lawn - not very neatly but the grass was very long, and it's still hot. If it doesn't rain I'll do it again tomorrow to get it a bit neater! OH has braved the supermarket and has just phoned with a query - he says it's chaos there!

We should have been going up to DS1's for GS1's birthday barbecue tomorrow, but what with one thing and another they've decided to postpone it, and I'm quite relieved. We've got a rare free week-end - so far!

Hi all sorry I havnt been on here lately, I’ve been busy and hot hot hot, I know we are spending sometime in Spain with regular high temps but we do have air conditioning and a pool , but here it's a different matter. Thanks Oma for asking about feet etc they were doing ok but this weather has made them swell up , so back to doctors on Wed, busy week next week, Eldest having a sleepover 2 nights as she’s here 2 days, and twins for a sleepover the following day so all three here one of those days 🥴 provisions are in just need to up my energy level now where did I put the Lucozade , I will read posts later off to Dd bbq now , took Eldest for her birthday present yesterday she had a sleepover and the day yesterday spent some cash oh dear 😮

Its been raining for a couple hours , a few rumbles of thunder but nothing much ,
Its cooling down , so I have been sorting the youngest two's Toys out , now have about 5 boxes on the landing ready to go in the loft , things they never play with ,
O is more into the computer and games now he's too old for cars etc .
S only plays with certain ones , I kept a big toy box full of leggo out everyone plays with that

Lots more space now , need to tackle the top shelf in wardrobe now , B tends to put anything up there he doesn't know what to do with

I had a nice day with DD1 and both GSs, I will write elsewhere about it.
Both tired and fell asleep on the way back to mine
It warm but a good 10 degrees cooler than yesterday and we have had rain. Fish and chips for tea tonight.
I hardly slept last night due to the heat, so I hope for a better night tonight.

Qwerty, try to keep your feet up as much as possible - not easy with 3 GC!
