That did sound a perfect day Sunshine.

Today I am going to see my mum.
Tonight I am going with all DDs and few others to an outdoor screening of A Star is Born, in York. Blankets etc needed I'm sure! OH will drop me off and DD2's FIL will drop me home when he picks up his wife. Very kind of him. I was originally considering the bus as it is on our route. Then with chair and bag of stuff to I wasn't so keen. The DD1 asked if she could borrow our spare chair, so bus was out of the question!

Was a noisy night last nigh in our otherwise quiet cul-de-sac

People over the road were having a party there was lots of cars and taxi's going from lunch time till late last night , people arriving and going

We also had new neighbour moving in , .
The house at the top is owned by the council and the older neighbour moved out after her husband died and she wanted to live near family , a girl in her 30's got it
All week there have been decorators in then yesterday she had the flooring people there putting carpets and wood flooring down , the banging went on till past 10.30 , must have been a friend doing it after his own work as no Carpet fitter works that late ,
This morning there is piles of rubbish outside the front door , old carpets and cardboard , the next door neighbour wont be happy till its moved as its in front of his alley gate.

Nothing planned as such today see how it goes

Oma - everything'g happening at once in your cul de sac! I hope the rubbish gets moved quickly, and your neighbours' hangovers aren't too bad.

We got the gardening done.Looks all nice and tidy,even if i say so myself.
No cooking today,hubby asked for a salad. I just had a sandwich.

Afternoon ladies.

It’s very hot and sunny here.Hope you’re all having a good day

I had a bit of a blitz round the living room and kitchen before we went for a walk.Had a chat on the phone to DS 1,did some washing ,did an on line shopping order on Tesco’s site that was having an off day and then it was lunchtime. More painting this afternoon and apart from any touch ups that’s the actual painting done.Next I want to shampoo the carpet and then start putting things back ,getting rid of a lot of things on the way(I hope ! ) I’ve ordered new duvet covers but am keeping the curtains which I’ve washed.

No idea about our evening meal yet though I do have strawberries and mango for dessert

Nanto doesn't it feel good when you get it all tidy ,

Daisy I have just sprayed my drive , not many but a few weeds poking through the block paving ,

Well street all quiet again , party goers all gone and the rubbish has been taken away to the tip I suppose so neat and tidy again

sun is out so had a sit in garden , im waiting for the sun to move then I can spray the lillies get rid of any Lilly beetle's that might be left , I have picked off a few don't think there is many but you never know .

Clover - what a productive day you've been having. You must be so pleased with your decorating, and all the sorting out you're going to do as well. It gives you an incentive when you've got a freshly painted room, doesn't it.

Strawberries and mango - yumm, and perfect for this warm weather.

Oma - our posts crossed. Those lilly beetles won't stand a chance, I can tell, you're out to get them! OH is going to borrow DS2's brilliant patio cleaning thingy. If we spray the weeds they stuff always seems to run into the lawn and Eva's doing a good enough job of killing that without any help from weed killer!

Mum was in a good mood this afternoon, we had a nice time together.

I like non cooking days Nan2 We are eating out at the venue tonight (not sure what is available but there will be something) so no cooking for me. OH will sort her own meal out.
