Plant - I wondered that as well!! I'm sure he could have turned up in his slippers and passed them off as the latest fashion.

Gem - I hope the weather lasts for you.

It's been much cooler today, once the clouds cleared, but quite a breeze and definitely a good drying day.

I've caught up with the washing - but no the ironing, of course!! Our DS2's FIL is here and OH is helping him to fill in some forms, and I have prepared a load of dog food. I now need to tidy the chest freezer up. Why does one job always lead to another!

Oma - I think wearing smart new slippers is much better than wearing odd shoes. I'm sure he could have got away with it.

Oma,in laws are coping with the heat ok.Their living room is cool.

We've just been sat ouside with a cuppa,and it was quite cool with the breeze. i had to put my cardigan on.

I'm shattered,only slept for about 1½ hours. Better than no sleep i suppose.
Cooler this morning and breezy.
We are planning on doing some gardening later,when i get back from in laws.
Hubby wants to trim the hedge and i will cut the grass.
Over the weekend hubby has cut back the lilacs. He does it every 2/3 years,otherwise they get out of hand.

WeeGranny,a very handsome GS you have,he looks very smart.

It’s been a busy weekend here in Grauntie land. I haven’t cooked a thing for 3 days! OH is out tonight too, so I won’t bother tonight either.
It looks breezy outside, maybe I should take advantage and round up some washing.
I loved the pics of Storm in the pool, Oma, and of WG’s garden furniture. I just wish our weather was more settled, then we could get our parasols out.
Cards this afternoon, always fun.
Plant I do hope your eye has started to improve.
So glad Enfys and Mr. Enfys had a good break.

Nanto I do so sympathise with you , the lack of sleep takes it out of you doesn't it ,
Last night was so stuffy too you need a nana nap after lunch

GM nice when you don't have to cook also you can have what you fancy tonight you don't have to think of hubby

Its dull but very warm hear ,
Dog chewing on a bone in the garden B ordering something on internet , lord knows what there is always something turning up and I don't know what till it gets hear

I have stood and done my ironing left ironing board up as I still have 3 things that are not quite dry yet so I will do them after lunch ,

GS1 at tea time doing him a roast beef dinner that's what he wants in this heat ,

Off to ring Diabetic screening clinic , I have a appointment for tomorrow at 3.45 but DS bringing two youngest after school , its GS2 11th birthday on Wednesday and he wants Money not sure what for yet

Thanks Grauntie, I did feel my eye was getting better yesterday, hope for some more improvement today. Enjoy your cards. I am not sure if I shall be going to bowls, not very enjoyable with a painful eye, apart from that nothing else planned for today. Wimbledon starts today, might watch some of that.

Morning all WG you posh lady with the garden furniture it will be Pimms and strawberries for you in the garden today, I havnt looks on media at pics yet save the best for last lol.
We have had our parasol out for one day, hardly seems worth knocking the cobwebs off 🥴
Washing in machine and what ever takes my fancy conserving my energy , no pick up this week it’s the reception class Graduation Day so both parents having the day off to go , whatever next !!!
Windy and dull here at the mo in fact I’m cold 🥶

Good morning everyone.

It's sunny here at the moment, but a bit of an edge to the breeze. I've been to collect cooper and both dogs have spent an hour or so flying round the house and garden, being silly, and are now sparko! I don't suppose the peace and quiet will last long.

OH has gone to the dentist - routine hygienist appointment, so hopefully no shocks in store.

I knew it wouldn't last -Eva's trying to get on my lap and Cooper's bashing me with a Kong Wubba!!
