Good evening. We are having a very nice time thank you Plant. DD and I have just had a session in the hot tub and sauna, very pleasant it was too with a lovely glass of chilled white. The weather has been a bit iffy, but not cold and it hasn’t stopped us doing things. We’ve had a couple of long walks along the river shore which is just at the bottom of the garden, Dexter loves it. There’s a couple of pics on my media if you fancy having a look.

Oma, hope you and B have a great cruise, I’m sure Mr andMrs Daisy which enjoy hav8nv you to stay.

We are just trying to decide what to do tomorrow, I think we’ll wait and see what the weather is like.

We're both looking forward to seeing you! Poor Storm, ignored by the cats. Awww, I hope you made a big fuss of him to make up for his disappointment.

It wasn't a great drying day today, although it was dry, so washing continues tomorrow.

We had a bit of a shock tonight. About 5 weeks ago an elderly lady in our cul de sac moved up to Surrey to a retirement home to be closer to her son. We've just heard that she had a fall at the week-end and died. I was actually in the process of writing to her, saying I hoped she'd settled in and was making new friends. It's so sad.


Mimi - my GD2 loves her glasses - she says they make her feel special because none of her friends have got them. She's also noticed that she can see better with them on, and that helps a lot. Pleased to hear your DS is feeling a bit better.

Qwerty - you need a day off sometimes. Relax and enjoy it.

Enfys - I noticed a lot of cloud in the far west on the weather forecast, but at least it's stayed dry for you. It sounds a lovely place and I'm sure it's doing you and P good. xx

Sunny here atm. planning on a bit of gardening as the rest of the weeks weather sounds bad, the garden could do with some rain.

That is sad Daisy, many years ago when I was hairdressing a lady with dementia came to live with her Dd and she would bring her for her hair doing, she joined a day centre and on her first day there she wandered out as the staff had a meeting, why no one sat out to keep an eye on the members I never understood. She fell over a concrete bollard in the car park and broke her hip she died within days , what a sad ending to lives .
Oma it’s lovely that you will be visiting Daisy and OH, but Daisy you really don’t know what your letting yourself in for 🤣
I am taking the twins for swimming lessons after school dil is working away and DS is waiting for washer repair man, and dishwasher repair man , should be fun drying 2 kids at the same time, no need to shower them though they will be getting in the bath later 😀

Spent a few hours scrubbing downstairs out make sure its all clean before I go away ,
We then went to get fresh Bread , bumped into our Neighbour and asked him to put out our Bin next week
So much to think about .

Good morning all.
Pleased to announce that a new handle has been put on the freezer

But ......
OH was cutting the hedge when he cut through the electric cable and that tripped the electrics in the flat

Its a good job the hedge trimmer was plugged into a circuit breaker otherwise I dread to think what could have happed. Its the second time he has done this. I have told him he has to buy a battery hedge trimmer , no more electric ones for him !

Just a quick hello from me as I have to go ack outside and help OH to clear up all the hedge trimmings (he had to finish the hedge with good old fashioned hand shears )

Dishwasher was delivered at 7.30. Hubby will probably sort it this evening.
After he has come home and we have eaten,we are planning on doing the gardening.
