Good morning all. It seems a lot calmer outside this morning, hopefully it will stay that way.
Nan2 I am ashamed/ proud to admit that I have only used that hot flat hissing thing twice this year . What with tumbling the washing when it’s too wet to dry outside and the fact that I never iron wollies, OH’s polo shirts ( he never wears a conventional shirt now he is retired, unless we are going some where ‘posh’ ) bedding, tea towels etc, I’m not left with a lot that needs ironing. My neighbour actually loves ironing, is she mad I ask myself?
What have you got for Sunday lunch, we are having lamb.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good morning ladies.
I hope you all enjoy your days, whether you are sport watching, ironing, going out for lunch, or something else!
The day outside looks calm here.
We are going to my mum's later to move her 2nd freezer from garage to kitchen, do a bit of garage clearing, and I may sneak in a bit of surreptitious bathroom cleaning too. It was looking very unhygienic in there the other day and I managed to squirt some loo cleaner down the bowl, but loo and basin need proper attention.

Good moaning each.
I love to iron. Yes I am mad. Send it all to me.
I seem to remember someone on here had a problem with a split screen on their iPad. OH has just had the same. I clicked on the two little boxes, then deleted all websites by the tiny cross in the corner and all was normal again, so if it happens to you, don’t panic, easily sorted.
I am threatened with a blowy damp walk this morning which I should really do as I didn’t go outside yesterday. My sewing machine is calling me though......
Enjoy Sunday everyone.

Can't have Beef without cabbage Oma.
Only just finished my breakfast, I want to pop down the hill to a retail park, I need a new pair of earphones from Argos and some poppers from Hobbycraft. I plan to make butternut squash soup and celery soup today, I made carrot and lentil soup yesterday, that should keep me going for a bit. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Qwerty what on earth is 'Spatchcock chicken'? Is it a breed, a recipe or where it comes from? I still don't know what sort of meal Scouse is either. Glad you enjoyed your evening.
Like you Oma OH has got the beef in cooking & smelling yummy. I love beef. Not a rib eye joint tho...whatever is on offer at the time.😉 Plant do you use a soup maker for your delicious soups? Maybe it's something I should start again as I don't eat that much veg."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

That’s right Mimi I take the backbone out and squash it down , it looks like it’s been run over sorry , I make a marinade of olive oil, Smokey paprika, lemon juice, garlic, and chilli a bit spicy but delish .What happens IS the whole chicken is cooked at the same time and a shorter cooking time , here endeth the lesson 🤣
