    Good morning everyone.

Nanto - I hope it's just a blip with your monitor!

Thinking of Enfys and P, and hoping everything goes as planned.

Oma - Storm has a better social life than me!!

Gem - it's still quite a busy day for you. I hope Mum enjoys her outing.

I was hoping to get a few jobs done in the garden today, but it's raining! Hey ho, will have to find something else to do. I've got a feeling I'll be KP-ing for OH. He's determined to make chutney today. He doesn't cook - ever - but since he's been retired he's got into making chutney and jam, but he thinks all the ingredients present themselves ready peeled, chopped and weighed out.

          Good Moaning Each!
Very wet here. Just the kind of weather for some sewing. A friend bought some silk furnishing fabric sample books at auction and gave me some. I intend to make bags and have been desperate to start. This is my moment...😁
Enfys, I have it all crossed here.
          Have a good day all.

Good morning all . Its not so cold here and at the moment the sun is shinning . Earlier this morning I popped to the shop to get some chocolate ( we did have some here but it seems as if those pesky sprits have been here and eaten my chocolate hoard ) as out two youngest GS are coming here this afternoon.
DD is working so SIL has got the week off work and as he is going to Hay On Wye this morning he thought he would pop by for a cuppa and we get to have some GC cuddles. It will only take about 20 mins to get to us from Hay On Wye .

Before I forget, thanks admin for the email . It was lovely

How is everyone ? What have I missed ?

Enfys , thinking of you and P today . Got fingers crossed

Gem , hope your mum has a nice day.

Nan2 we have done almost everything that needs doing in the garden, just a bit of tiding up of leaves etc . Sad to see the end of the summer flowers .

            Have a good day everyone

I was going to cut the grass while hubby tidied round, but it's way too wet.

Oma,the monitor has gone to monitor heaven.Hubby been to Currys/PC World and bought a new one, a bit bigger than the old one.

              Sun is shining now.
Cleaned all the upstairs and washed the bedding.

we've got a bit of weak, watery sun now, but it's still far too wet to cut the lawn! I also want to put OH's banana plant to bed for the winter. It's too big and heavy to lug into the greenhouse, so I'm going to pack it with straw and cover it with a cosy fleece jacket and drag it to a sheltered spot, but it needs to be dry, so not today! I need to clear leaves from the fountain and top it up with water, even in this showery weather.

Must go - I'm needed for bottling duties - OH has made his chutney!

                  You have your uses Daisy!
A nice new monitor Nan2, that is the bonus of the other one dying on you.
I hope you got lots of CG cuddles Mimi.

Mum and her friend are chatting over tea and cake. I will go back for mum soon, and take her home and help her put her shopping away and bins out.
The rainy morning gave way to a dry and sunny afternoon, OH and pals on the golf course will be happy

Thinking of you Enfys, hope P is okay, has he got to stay in hospital?

Sounds like your mum had an enjoyable time with her friend Gemini, I hope you have recovered from Halloween.

We have had a drizzly day, Aqua this morning, pushed the cleaner around and then did some knitting. Yesterday GGS was next door with DD so I popped in to see him, he handed me one of his small cars and said share. His parents have been teaching him to share his toys with others, very sweet.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts. P is fine just had a call from the hospital, they were going to let him come home but there is a slight problem with an air leak? In the lung, it’s very common and nothing to worry about but they want to keep him in overnight to. Onitoe him, otherwise he’s ok. Phew, I will sleep better tonight. Many thanks to Qwerty for passing on your messages and keeping in touch.

Daisy, we only had to go to Bournemouth hospital luckily, only 15 mins from here so no problem. Thank you for the lovely ecard, very thoughtful. Also, thanks to admin for the ecard, loved it.

I am feeling more positive now after a few down days, it’s silly an know, but just one of those things. Doesn’t happen very often thankfully, and doesn’t last too long.

So I am home alone tonight, but that’s fine, at least I know things have gone well today, and I will enjoy a glass (or two) of wine later....Qwerty’s idea 🍷🍷😀

Enfys, how lovely to hear that things have gone well for P. It sounds as though this leak is routine. Best to have him stay the night just to be safe.
Not at all silly to have the down and worried times. We all have them. I admire you both for how positive you are most of the time!
