Im at the minute reading not a true classic but its about Mary Bennet the third sister in the Pride and Prejudice book , she is the plain one
It is about her written in the style of her account of her life as the un pretty un interesting one ,
So far its good .
Its called The other Bennet sister
By Janice Hadlow
I never considered Catcher don't know why ,
Sometimes I have read a book I hated and just like you Gem found boring and I have taken ages to read and still didn't like it at the end but wouldn't be beaten by it ,
Its called being stubborn hahaha
Well, it got slightly less boring, but it's hard to see how Catcher in The Rye has become a classic (I felt the same way when I finally saw The Mousetrap! I have seen much better Agatha Christie's than that)
I am going to rate my classic reads out of 5.
Rebecca (5)
Wuthering Heights (2)
Oliver Twist (5)
Pride and Prejudice (3)
Anne of Green Gables (5)
The Catcher in the Rye (2)
To Kill a Mockingbird (5)
Howards End (3.5)
