Terrible thing to happen, curious as to why there was no May Day call made. I suppose the black boxes will reveal what happened, but still a terrible loss of lives.

Have you seen the news? There's no indication it was a terrorist attack, but it appears to have been a deliberate act by the co-pilot. It's on 'breaking news'.

Yes I have been listening to the news. They are saying that the pilot left the cockpit and the co-pilot wouldn't let him back. Then the plane went into a nosedive. Why couldn't he have just killed himself instead of taking the lives of all those people.

It's just been on the news that the co-pilot deliberately crashed the plane! Very distressing to all the families of those who died.

Oh Zizi, you and me both, I had a stillborn son, before I had my daughter. Not a good time eh.

Very bad Elisi. I knew she was going to be stillborn, I was 32 weeks and my then husband had beaten me up. I was never able to have more children after that but didn't know how damaged I had been until current husband and I considered having children. I went to the doctor to get checked out and was told eventually that I must have been told at the time I was not able to have more children - think it was just such a traumatic time if someone did tell me it didn't sink in. Anyway husband and I decided before I was told that by the doctor that we wouldn't have more children. We had three boys between us and a busy business. One of husbands phrases was "look at the age of the boys now, if we had a girl the poor thing would have three big brothers vetting her every move and forget boyfriends!" It was the wisest decision in the circumstances and in some ways made the news that I couldn't have more a bit easier to accept although I must admit I cried very bitter and angry tears for a short while. When I look at it now, with everything that has happened over the last twenty five years, we would not be in the position we are in now (which is very satisfactory) if we had had another child although still in my heart I would have liked a daughter and am jealous, not in a nasty way, of ladies who do have daughters. Just the hand you are dealt I suppose,

I had a still born daughter, full term. After two other problem births I then decided no more children, be happy with the two healthy children we were lucky to have.

Well done Oma, giving a taste of his own medicine
