Clover - no, you will always remember that awful day, which must have changed your life for ever, but I hope your memories of your Dad are loving and happy.
It will be 54 years in November since my Dad died (I was 18, like your sister) and I was with him. You remember every detail.

Clover, it's my biggest regret in life that I only ever knew my Dad when I was a child/teenager. The adult memories I have are what other people have told me about him.
