Clover - no, you will always remember that awful day, which must have changed your life for ever, but I hope your memories of your Dad are loving and happy.

It will be 54 years in November since my Dad died (I was 18, like your sister) and I was with him. You remember every detail.

He was Gem. We used to go on lovely country walks and he taught me the names of all the wild flowers etc.

Me too, my Pa was taken suddenly. Clover we never forget, but we learn to walk alongside, don't we. Relish the memories of the lovely man that he was. Xx

Clover, it's my biggest regret in life that I only ever knew my Dad when I was a child/teenager. The adult memories I have are what other people have told me about him. I'm sure you must feel that even more so losing your lovely Dad at such a young age. xxx
