Elisi, what a beautiful and haunting poem. She was indeed a talented lady, and how tragic that her life ended in such a sad way.

Love to you, Avo and Oma - treasure the happy memories. xx

My sister died at the age of 16 . She died from carbon monoxide poisoning. I remember it like it was yesterday I was 13 at the time . The whole scene plays back in my mind many many times. It was on the 6th March 1968 .
No matter how much I try I will never forget that night.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

So sad to lose a sibling. Don't see my brothers as often as I would like but can't imagine them not being here.

Good to remember them and happy times.
        xx

I am the youngest of six children, my sister died when she was 29 and my only brother when he was 40. Both had children so my mother stepped to support the children

Remembering my dear sister who was sadly taken from as aged 30, after a courageous fight with breast cancer 29 years ago today. She was diagnosed whilst pregnant and bravely chose to save her baby rather than herself. She died leaving a 6 month baby and 3 year old. That is really Mother's Love.

What a courageous / brave woman. So selfless. An example to us all.

I lost mine when I was only 22 and still miss him greatly. There is a special bond between a daughter and her Daddy. I'm sure you will be taking a moment to remember all those special times you shared.

Hugs to you Mamar. Dads are special, mine was my best friend as well as being my dad, we had been through such heartbreak together and no one will ever come close to our bond we had .
I understand exactly how you feel. X
