There are a lot of busy knitting bees around! Good luck with the hedgehogs, Enfys! As Gem says, I struggle with 2 needles, so I'm sure 4 would be impossible - I look forward to seeing the end products.

I remember knitting gloves at primary school, and some girls did them on 4 needles, but the teacher told me I would be better sticking to two needles and sewing them up afterwards!!! She knew when she was beaten, bless her.

I'd still like to have a go!

I found knitting on 4 needles (hedgehogs) VERY challenging. Hence only one sock got made. Never gone back to it. GD loves the doll I knit for her to put in her Christmas stocking. Well done Enfys, I'd love to see a pic when you have time.

Nana - the only things you can do with one sock are to make it into a finger puppet or hand it up on the mantlepiece for FC to fill for you!

Aww, Nana, what a shame to bin it after all your hard work.

Well done, Enfys. I look forward to seeing the finished sock. Will you be making a partner for it?

Definately, and I’ve bought more wool to make some more, it’s addictive. 🙂

Are the socks one colour Enfys? I love productive knitting but haven't the patience for clothes.

Enfys - you must be doing a good job of taming those hedgehogs.

Nana - do you knit clothes for dolls?

One sock finished, now to do,the other one. I really didn’t like the yarn, it was very splitty and slightly fuzzy but I will make the other sock otherwise it’s such a waste. I have some lovely self striping yarn which I will use next.

Enfys - well done. That sock looks very professional, even if the yarn wasn't exactly how you'd like it. I love the crocheted blanket as well - what glorious colours.

My DD gave me a set of bamboo needles(all sizes) for my birthday so I’m looking forward to using them as I’ve never worked with bamboo pins before.
