Long term weather forecast is for thundery showers on Friday when we are traveling down. We are stopping near Redruth that night. Writing lists now, it gets longer every year, things like tablets and hearing aid, walking sticks etc have to go on it. Have ordered a food delivery for Sat afternoon from Tesc,..... There will be ten family members down there plus 6 friends, I have a three bedroom house so the youngest GS's will sleep in the 3 rd bedroom. Do hope the weather is reasonable so they can all be on the beach. Looking forward to some lovely fish.

Plant - I hope all your lists are complete and your packing done, so you can relax today and tomorrow and get into the holiday mood. It's a pity the weather isn't too promising for the next few days, but with 16 of you there will be no shortage of conversation and company. In fact it could turn into a 2-week party!

Plant, a family holiday is my ideal, I'm sure it will be lovely

The forecast here for Friday is bad too. We are going to a wedding, of close friends, on Friday and rain is forecast at the vital times. I hope they are wrong!

Gemini - the forecasts are a bit iffy, because that stormy weather front is proving to be a bit of a diva! Let's hope the rain holds off for the vital times.

It rained all day for the wedding, but it was still lovely. The couple went to California 2 days later and left the rain behind

Nice things just gone were a seaside day with OH, GD, 2 friends and their GD on Wednesday, and a day out with DDs1 and 2 and both GC on Friday.

Nice thing coming this week, a meal with 2 of my best friends tomorrow night.

Mmmm my flat smells of lovely chocolate cake BUT not for me. Husband has made one in advance for his students last day this week. It will have chocolate ganache icing and strawberries on top (I have tested the strawberries to make sure they taste as they should).
