Qwerty - it's lovely to ee them growing though, and their personalities coming to the fore.

Nice things for us will be getting the new roof windows finished and the rooms decorated, plus a few days here and there with the caravan. Now we've changed the dog training class to Monday evening, we've got an extra day without disrupting childcare days. Plus I'm looking forward to seeing as many as possible grannies when we meet in September.

I am looking forward to meeting some of the Northern Grannies next week always a lovely experience
Also I have a few meals and cinema trip relating to my birthday in June.
The biggest thing I am looking forward to is a night away with my 3 DDs, planned for after my treatment.
I am so glad we couldn't make it any sooner, although we tried. As I am still not healed from the horrible radiotherapy burns, I can't go swimming or in the Jacuzzi, or even lay on my front for a massage.
I am not convinced I will be able to do any of these things by June 3rd, but keeping my fingers crossed. If not I will enjoy the rest of the time, but will be sorry not to use the spa facilities.

We are currently in a cottage in Coniston with lovely friends of many years standing. We will do many Nice Things this week and then we are off to Marske on Friday to stay with other friends for a very jolly weekend. At the moment my days are full of Nice Things. 😁

GM, I want to visit the Pavilion, been to Brighton several times but never been there. I want to visit the lanes and we are booked to go on the British Airways i360. Wouldn't really choose Brighton for a holiday, it is full of Amusement Arcades etc but it is our nearest seaside and I felt I needed to see the sea as we are not going to Cornwall this year. Cornwall and Brighton, chalk and cheese. My GD is taking me (at GM's expense) just for a couple of days.

My Nice Thing weekend with my daughters went very well, and I was healed so could enjoy everything

I have just booked for OH and I to go to Haworth for 2 nights this summer. This was a Living Social deal I bought a little while ago. I should have booked straight away, I didn't and now the only dates they could offer were 2 nights in late June when we are at the theatre in York for one of them, or November. Haworth is lovely but not in November! Luckily he allowed us to book for August (the school holidays were excluded from the offer officially) Looking forward to it

                            Nice things next weekend

GS2 here on Saturday whilst GD has her birthday party at Lush.
We then take him back home, where we stay and all the family will come round for Pizza Night (GDs choice) we order from their local Italian, it doesn't have to be pizza.
Sunday is GDs actual birthday, and we are back again, with my mum in tow this time, for a birthday party tea.
Hard to believe my baby girl will be 8!!

Gem - a lovely week for you. Don't our babies grow up far too fast! Eight is getting very close to 10 - and then teenagerism is fast approaching!
