I always have crossword / puzzle books , I do a lot and they do help with my spelling ,
My sister is excellent at crosswords even the hardest she will solve .
Oma, I always hope they will help with my spelling - but sometimes it's the opposite. I can't solve a clue because I've spelled the crossing words wrongly.

I started watching Fawkes last night but it was very slow and didn’t catch my imagination,
I went on line and read about all the men involved ,
Some have relatives living today but not Guy Fawkes ,
They suffered unimaginable torture, barbaric but the methods of the times.

The WI is an institution that seems to have stood the test of monumental changes to our way of life. I imagine the world was a very different place in 1915. I wonder what the founders would think of the WI and the world in general today.
