Oma, I hardly ever go into Sainsbury's (or any other main supermarket for that matter) these days, so I've no idea whether our local Sainsbury's still has its cafe, but I haven't been near one since the day they tried to convince me and OH that the sausage on our then 3 year old GD's plate was edible - it was RAW on the inside! We walked out in disgust after complaining to the cafe manager who just shrugged her shoulders.

There is a very large Sainsburys a couple of miles from us, the cafe is the whole top floor but I don't know if it is still open.

Well, who'd have thought it! Recent research has shown a genetic predisposition in some humans to gain weight and regulate our appetite is caused by the gene called DENNB1B. The same gene is also associated with a higher body mass in Labrador dogs! I've had several Labs and lab crosses and they have all been ready, willing and really keen to eat endlessly.

Scientists have found a genetic cause of many labradors' - and some people's - tendency to overeat.
