Carpet down new mirror up and only the floors to mop when storm goes home ,
Lad coming to measure up for new internal doors on Monday but at least we won't have anything to do when he fits them.

We have bought a Chinese curry meal from Asda for tea , we couldn't be bothered to think of anything else,

Gemini, Well, my leg is still in full leg soft bandage supporting the knee which has a broken bone and under it is a dressing covering a bad graze which has to be dressed every 4/5 days. this will be so until it is is X-rayed again.

Nanto, very happy birthday to your OH. It would be lovely if GD2's baby shared his birthday, but babies don't hurry. I hope your GD has an easy labour.

Lizzie, I've heard of dry needling, but I'm no sure what it entails. It's good news that it's helping you.

Oma, your and B have put a lot of work into your new-look home. I hope you can put your feet up and relax now. It will good for you tto take it easy, and get a holiday booked. xx

Plant, it must be very frustrating that your leg is still needing treatment, but some things can't be rushed unfortunately. Are you managing to get out and about a bit when it's not too hot?

It was a bit overcast here this morning, but sunny now. It's only 26 C at the moment and that feels quite comfortable with the breeze.

Hospital wasn't to bad this morning, but the air con on the ward was going full blast (needed for a treatment) and it was really cold. I was wishing I'd taken a cardigan! We got home about lunch time, and I was so tired I've slept on and off all afternoon. We've had a busy few days and I think it's caught up with me. I'll be ok tomorrow.

Daisy, dry needling helps with muscle pain, it can be very painful though!!! The girl said to me " you are taking it very well"! She couldn't see the tears running down my face!

I have just ordered a balcony screen for the next heat wave to save my plants.

The neighbour opposite has just brought me the runner beans from his allotment, he always brings them.

Oh exciting Nan2

OH isn't back from the golf yet Daisy. Hopefully they have had a good day. She was very lucky to be given these tickets by the OH of my ex. She works for golf competitions in some way. In what way I don't know, she's not a golfer!

This was the first day of GS2's summer holiday, so he was happy to just chill out here, which meant I got some much needed rest My friend called in this afternoon with her two New York GSs staying with her for the summer.
