We haven't had any rain today,but i think its been cool for July.

GD1 and her hubby called in earlier. They had just dropped Tommie off at a party.
We gave the him his birthday presents for Thursday,as he will be at the childminders until late in the evening this week.

Hello everyone. We arrived safely! No wine I'm afraid, but a good cup of tea and a very nice made to order pizza from the pop up cafe on site. Definitely ready for an early night! Xx

Going to clean the washer inside and out.
Also want to descale the kettle, then it will be coffee time.

It's overcast here but so stuffy , we could do with a good thunder storm,
I must give my washer a good clean on a hot wash with soda crystals,
I clean the drum and seal and the dispenser tray after every wash so that's ok but haven't gave it a good run through for a few weeks now ,

We have to be at the hospital before 10 to see the social worker for mother ,
Then I have dentist at 2.30 to start the prep for a bridge ,
I have one tiny false tooth and I just can't get away with it so having a bridge done instead .

Aqua for me this morning. My friend M is coming for coffee this afternoon. It's not as windy today I don't think, so we may sit outside, I will see what she prefers

Good Monday morning everyone.

It's warm and sunny here and I'd forgotten how lovely the sea views are here along this part of the south coast. I took Eva out early and we were both quickly exhausted walking up hill. It's very flat where we live. We going to have a nice relaxing day.

Well social worker was a waste of time ,
It now looks like MIL will have a live in carer for up to 6 weeks then it will be decided after that if they can provide a home placement ,
We can't see that lasting more than a week then MIL will be wanting them out
This social worker was not taking our concerns seriously so I stepped in and told her it was ok for her she has only seen MIL for 1 hour and OTs for 15 minutes , they can't possibly assess her in that short time and it is us as a family that see her day to day .

MIL didn't help herself neither,
We told her that MIL is afraid and anxious on her own as she told us numerous times.
SW asked her and MIL said no I'm fine on my own 🙄

I have been to the Dentist had the work done leading to a bridge being fitted and have a temporary crown on ,
Mouth quite numb still and she said it will be sore for a few days as they file the tooth down.

I'm tired now, it seems like a long day ,
It will be tomorrow also,
B has hospital appointment in another hospital at 9 then off to visit MIL then to SILs shop after to choose a carpet.
We hope to get some of the decorating done on Wednesday,

We had just returned from seeing the social worker when my new mirror turned up , in fact the delivery man was knocking on the door as we pulled up,

We made a cup of tea then just about to open the box when I noticed it wasn't ours ,
I rang the delivery company she asked what the name was on the box ,
She said oh he is on his way to Hexham to that lady ,
She rang him luckily he had only gotten as far as Gateshead 20 minutes away , so he turned round and came back with mine and took the other ladies away.😁

Daisy, you sound nicely settled in. Do you eat out much?

DS and Dil arrive home from holiday today, perhaps I shall see them tomorrow. My DD has been amaazing, keeping on top of all my appts. Just brought me a cup of tea, I need to use a walker to do everything.
