Good Saturday morning, everyone.

I thought I was well-organised for going on holiday tomorrow, but I find myself racing round doing the 101 things I'd forgotten about. It was getting on for midnight last night when I remembered I wanted to post on here!

We spent a lot of time yesterday doing minor jobs on the caravan and cleaning it. Life as always conspired to distract us though. I'm still taking Eva out very early while it's cool and even did a pile of ironing this morning as well! I'm busy giving the house a lick and a promise (not literally) as I like to leave it as clean as I can, and the garden is crying out for attention. Would you believe after all the floods we had in the winter and early spring we've got a hose-pipe ban coming into force while we are away. I've promised the plants a good soaking before we go!

I'm sorry I'm not keeping up with you all, but you're not forgotten. xx

I'll try and post while we're away, but apparently the signal isn't great. I think the caravan club are gradually improving wi fi around their various sites, but not this one yet!

We are all busy and especially in the summer out and about more and hopefully enjoying ourselves
Much more time for posting when we are stuck inside during the winter months!

Oma I agree you definitely need a break from decorating. Theres no rush is there?

We had a lovely afternoon and evening . They have a large covered outdoor seating area so we were outside all afternoon. We retired inside later for games as a cool breeze had got up.
We didn't leave until after 9. We arrived at 2. We were all anxious to not tire our hostess out too much but she insisted she was fine and enjoyed us all being together.
She had already said no cancer talk as three of the group are undergoing cancer treatment, and we have the sadness of DD3.
It made a happy relaxed time with no one wondering whether or not they should ask how things are going.

No plans for me today. Hubby is at a car boot sale with his bother.

I do have the Minutes of the last (very short) library meeting to do before Thursday so will get those done and sent out today.

We did the same when it was Christmas day and my sister had cancer ,
We said one day without talking about it,
It made for a much more relaxed day.

We are out this morning meeting D&J and DD & SIL for brunch.
Dorothy is desperate to get out after being stuck in for weeks with her legs being so bad ,
She is feeling so much better now .

Decorating is going very slow at the minute,
But we will get there.

Good news about your friend Dorothy Oma. Any news of MIL?

H is with her daddy, has been overnight, he will return her later today. Nearly the end of term for her. I have a hospital appt. Soon, I wonder if they will remove my leg brace. They told me the last visit that I broke a bone just above the knee. My DD and Sil have been amazing, Sil has sourced every possible aid for me. DS and Dil are back from their 3 week holiday tomorrow, I hope DS will take some strain off my DD.

We are seeing the social worker tomorrow about MIL , she finished antibiotics on Friday after a water infection but it looks like she has another infection now but they not sure where it is from ,
Trouble is she has had antibiotics so many times they will not be as effective now I don't think.

Dorothy was so pleased to be out ,
It took a while to get her in and out of the car though ,
Her legs are heavily bandaged and will be for another 4 weeks or so but at least they have stopped weeping and seem to be healing .
We had a lovely brunch ,
I had the washing out , just as well we came home when we did ,
I have just had to dash out and get them in as it's started to rain.
They are in the tumble dryer now.
