Lizzie, having a constant headache like that must be exhausting. Sinus problems are horrible, so I hope the specialist will be able to help. You said you were going out for a meal with the tax group, so it's nice to hear you enjoyed yourself, even if your legs protested a bit. It's sad when you know the right thing to do with a sick dog is to let it go. I'm sure your neighbour will miss his pal.

Oma, I'm sure the vase and lamp will look lovely. It was good of you and B to stay and make sure MIL ate her lunch. She certainly is very confused. I'm sure DD will love having your GS and Lucie at home, and it will be nice for her to have another girl in the house. It will certainly help GS and L to save for a place of their own. It's incredibly hard for youngsters just starting out these days.

We seem to have been on the go all day today. OH has weeded the front drive, which was looking pretty untidy. He's also got rid of some bits of wood left over from rebuilding his trailer some time ago. I gave our neighbour's garden a good watering at the back and did the pots at the front as well. In between getting a few minutes rest I also mowed the lawn, but ran out of energy to do the edges as well. We had lunch late, but I'll go and start on dinner in a minute. It's been a lovely warm day and just right for relaxing in the garden between jobs.

Daisy,been a busy day here as well.
While dinner was on,i prepped my broccoli for the freezer. Thats frozen now.
Hubby had arranged to go for a ride with his brother and nephew.
They went on their motorbikes,hubby went on the quad.
Before hubby left,he strimmed the garden and did some tidying up.
While he was out,i cut the grass,so all looking tidy now.
Its been warm here today,for a change.

Oma, I bet GS and girlfriend are looking forward to moving in together.

Today might be less busy for me.
Just general housework to do, including ironing.

No no luck with meetings yet, they only have two social workers for the whole hospital and one is off sick,
So lord knows when it will happen.

Sinus problems linger don't they ,
It's so painful , I think bending forward is so painful it seems to pull your face doesn't it.
Hope you can get some treatment soon.

I have to go up the Drs this morning first to the little independent chemist to see if they have my tremor tablets in then to the Drs to either order them or ask for an alternative,
This is 3 months in a row I have had this carry on .
No one has them in stock till late July at the earliest.

I did want to go to Next at home to look for curtains but B has some jobs he wants to get done in the garden while it's dry so we will go tomorrow instead,

Good Monday morning, everyone.

I'm off to the hospital for a blood test soon, then OH has an appointment for some new hearing aids so we'll go from one to the other, hopefully with time for a coffee in between. OH has just taken Eva for a quick walk, and I need to get ready.

Oma, no the hearing aids need charging daily, so she has been without them since day 2!
We had a good swim in the sea yesterday.

Gem, how lovely to be able to swim in the sea. There's nothing quite like it. I was in and out of the hospital so quickly we were able to go home, have a coffee there and then OH went to collect his new hearing aids. They've just finished charging and he's trying them out. I'm looking forward to not needing to shout quite so much! Has S found it difficult being without hers this week?

We've made some progress with the front garden this afternoon. It was getting very overgrown but a passion flower on the wall had died in the winter. It's the second one we've lost in that area, so we've replaced it with a jasmine. Fingers crossed it's happy there.
