Morning Nanto, ladies.

It's not sure what it wants to do out there , sunny one minute then overcasting the next,
B wants to pressure hose the pavings around the shed this morning before the turf goes down I think next week.

I have the bedding in and all the windows upstairs are open let the cobwebs blow away😁

I bought a new pillow last week a memory foam one,
I haven't been able to use it yet , the chemical smell is awful , it was the same when I bought one a couple of years ago
It had to air for a week or more,
I'm going to hang this out on the line let the wind get at it .

It's really spooked Eva hasn't it ,I hope she walks better for J
I remember Storm getting spooked by a long bunch of grass when a rabbit emerged ,
He almost escaped his collar,
It was months before he would walk past it again ,
He would just sit down yards away or pull back the way we came,
He is ok now but still doesn't sniff that bit when we pass.

We went on the trip to the caves today .The caves themselves were lovely. The trip.not so much, and deserves a long post from me on the holiday section! You will have to wait for that until I am home.

We are putting our feet up after a lot of step climbing and coach sitting. Nice long rest now before shower and dinner.

How was the weather - just wondering whether your DS2 managed to get his bike ride or had the pleasure of your company.

Oma, a sunny day with a bit of a breeze is ideal for freshening anything up on the line. I hope the pillow is better now. Yes, thank you, Eva walked really well for OH this morning. If he's not careful he could find himself with regular walkies! You wonder what goes through a dog's mind! I had to smile at Storm being spooked by a clump of grass because of a rabbit. That's not exactly the image you'd have of a big strong fearless Husky.

Gem, I'm glad you managed to do the caves trip, but it clearly wasn't all plain sailing. One of the really nice things about a holiday is being able to sit and relax before having a leisurely shower followed by a meal someone else has prepared for you.

We were a bit late leaving for our friends' house this morning and we weren't sure of the way so set the satnav, which seemed to be having a crisis and tried to send us off on a very strange route. We resisted but got fed up with the strident voice insisting we needed to do a U-turn when possible. The friends had booked a table at a restaurant recommended to them but which they hadn't visited. They kindly offered to drive so we left our car at their house. The restaurant turnout out to be very close to our dog training hall, and closer to our house than theirs! We had a very nice lunch, and I feel I won't want to eat for at least a week! For some reason, I find any social occasion tiring at the moment, so we're having a quiet relaxing evening and will have a snack a bit later.

It's been a beautiful day, with lots of sunshine and just a light breeze. Perfect.

I'm pleased you got to have a cupper with DS I'm sure he had a better time than battling the weather on his bike.

The pillow is still a bit smelly but better than it was so if it's nice tomorrow I will put it out again,
Storm is far from a big strong fearless Husky , he is more like a little softy kitty😁

We got quite a lot done today ,
B got the pressure hosing done ,
I got all the bedding washed and dried then I did the ironing ,

B then made the beds up again and printed off the forms we needed for power of attorney for our health and finances ,
DD & SIL will get power of attorney for both, they just need signing then sent off,

Then SIL came from work and helped get the mirror up in the dinning room,
It's a lot bigger than I thought but will reflect a lot of light into the kitchen.

We then popped to M & S for some bits .

Hubby and his brother have gone to two car boot sales.
I've washed a load of darks and they are out on the line.
Dishwasher unloaded and been cleaned.

It's a lovely bright morning,
Towels in the wash housework done so I had a nice long shower and now I have time to sit with a cupper and browse ,
Our turn to visit MIL today, see what she's like ,
She has this fixation on the time of day at the moment,
Telling SIL2 yesterday the same thing she says to us that the hospital is changing the day around but just for her ,
Everyone else has the same time of day 🙄

We will pop into DDs on the way back ,

Nanto, you must be more than ready for a sit down and coffee after getting so much done this morning.

Oma, You've been busy, like Nanto! I hope MIL is less confused today. It must be very wearing for everyone. The vase is amazing. Where are you going to display it?

We've got nothing special planned for today, and I've had a lie in! It's a lovely sunny day, though, and I don't want to waste it. My first job will have to be watering next doors pots - I was too tired last night. OH will do ours. I'll pop back later.

Good morning, dry but windy.

I have the awful headache from the sinus, at least I hope that is what it is!! It has been almost 3 months now, it tires me out. I have an appointment with the specialist on Tuesday so will see what he says about it.

Did I mention I went out for a meal on Friday evening with the tax group?? I maybe did, I did enjoy it, a lovely meal, good company in a great location, the only thing was my legs don't like not moving for 3 hours!!!

I like the vase Oma, I saw them on line. I hope the visit to MIL goes well.

Daisy, I hope that Eva soon settles into a regular walk again, I was just talking to a neighbour in the lift, he has a German shepherd and it going to have it put down, the poor dog looks really ill!

Just saying Hello from my sunbed overlooking the sea.
I hope to get at least two swims in today

Daisy it will go on my new unity in the living room with my new lamp.

MIL is no better still talking gibberish , insisting they are feeding her during the night ,
Said she hadn't had any breakfast the woman in the next bed said she has she had cereal and toast ,
Then said I can't remember what I had for dinner, it hadn't been around .
We stayed two hours to make sure she ate her lunch and by then she wanted to sleep.

Went to DDs they have been decorating the bedrooms and GS & Lucie have been getting all new furniture and bed as Lucie is moving in untill they saved enough money for their own place ,
DD is delighted , she doesn't want them moving out .😁
It's all looking lovely.
