Hospital visit for us today ,
It's a bit dull and windy but warm.

There are a few jobs I need to get on with but can't seem to muster the enthusiasm for them ,

Nanto, that umbrella is needed here this morning. It was quite sunny until about 10 o'clock and since then it's been more like November than June. I hope you didn't get wet in town. Did hubby get what he wanted at Wickes. I hope you had a chance to have a cuppa with your DS2.

Gem, it's exciting when you get to the stage of packing, although I always pack far too much. At least the weather should be good for you, so that saves taking wet weather clothes, shoes etc. I do hoe you're not starting a cold. You're definitely in need of this holiday, and I hope you can relax and recuperate a bit. Dr Daisy prescribes plenty of "me time" - compulsory, please. Where are you flying from?

Oma, I hope the hospital visit goes well. We find Saturday appointments for OH's eyes are better. The hospital's much quieter and there seems to be less hanging around. It sounds as though you should be giving yourself a break rather than pushing through tiredness. Be kind to yourself. xx

We'd hoped to do some gardening today, but it's far too wet. It's the sort of day for online shopping. . Nothing else planned.

Daisy, thank you yes, me time is definitely on the agenda!
We fly from Leeds Bradford airport, which we love. Much smaller than Manchester, easy to get to and easy short transfer from the company we use for parking.

I hope all went well at the hospital Oma.
I had a message from a neighbour at 91 ( we are 59) saying an envelope was delivered there to me, with his number on. I will pop down to collect it later. I am wondering if it's you again. Oma, as OH's went to a different address

Hospital was to visit MIL although I do have an appointment to see the cardiologist but not till next month.

MIL was very chirpy , they moving her onto another ward today as she doesn't need the care on that ward now,
I have a feeling they may discharge her this week.
We talked about the home and she said she knows at some point she will have to go but not yet.
So I persuaded her she needs carers at least twice a day now .
We just have to wait and see what happens,
