Morning Nanto, ladies.

Nanto it's sunny here also and already warm.

I've done housework and had a shower ,
Washing on then I want to do my towels on a hot wash I've dragged towels out of the cupboard that's not getting used but I want to keep ( no idea why ) they are clean but I will freshen them up.

I hope everyone has a good Sunday , we have hospital visits today then popping to DDs .

Nan2, fish and chips outside in summer is always nice.

We had a lovely evening with our friends.
Today we really ARE going to a garden centre for bedding plants!
I will also start my holiday packing planning

The conservatory has been thoroughly cleaned top to bottom.
During the summer months we spend more time in there than we do in the living room.
The rest of the house has been tidied.

Going to prepare dinner now, I'm doing a full English. Ds1 is joining us for dinner.

MIL was very chirpy today ,
Couldn't remember anyone being in , said had no visitors for weeks and hadn't seen a Dr in weeks ,
She was eating well and chatty,

Took her some sliced strawberries sprinkled with sugar and a pealed and sliced Kiwi,
They were all gone in less than 5 minutes.
While we were there they brought her dinner , it was a roast beef one with veg and Yorkshire pudding,
It looked lovely for a change ,
She ate it all plus pudding and custard then ice-cream ,
She had also had a big cooked breakfast and rice Krispies, so she has her appetite back.

My DD is having a solid roof put on their conservatory, she is going to use it as a office as it doesn't get used to just sit in .

Nan2 one day we hope to have a tidy smart conservatory! It is now like a nursery, toys, toys and more toys. I wouldn't have it any other way right now, lovely to have a little one here so often

Oma, MIL has certainly got her appetite back!

I hope Daisy is enjoying her birthday.

We did get to the garden centre!!
Plants bought and planted now.

OH does the hanging basket at the front, as well as all her vegetables.
I do planters at the front and back and a couple of smaller pots in the back too.
Plenty to keep our cat sitting friends occupied whilst we are away

It's very sunny in the garden, but has been cloudy most of the day. There is definitely a bit of a breeze.

Well it rained overnight, is raining now and rain is forecast for days now. At least the plants will be well watered in!

Aqua this morning, no other plans apart from coffee with my friends afterwards.

Our plans for the next few days are on hold ,
B wanted to paint the fences ready for the new Astro turf , but it will have to go on hold till better weather now.

We will pop to M&S and super drug instead then I will do the ironing .

Gem, the rain has arrived at the right time to keep your new plants watered. How was Aqua this morning?

Oma, the best laid plans! It's a bit frustrating for it to rain when B wanted to get the fence painted, especially after all the hot weather recently.

I had a wonderful day with the family yesterday, and was very spoilt by them. I'm still trying to catch up with all the kind friends who sent messages and cards. It was perfect weather, and Eva and Daisy had a lovely time with lots of fuss from everybody, although Daisy was mainly mugging us to throw a ball for her. She's calmed down a lot in the few months since DIL1 adopted her, and is a pleasure to have around.

I'm taking a skirt to be shortened, and then get a few bits.

It's not cheap these days having alterations done is it ,

Not a lot on today B has a telephone call with the liver consultant at 11 ,
Same time the social worker going in to see MIL ,
Both SILs going in and MIL wanted me to be there but unfortunately I can't get there.

Hopefully it will get the ball rolling to get her into care.

Library morning for me.
This afternoon I am going to little E's sports day. Fingers crossed for no rain!
DD3 would love to go but it's chemo day. SIL has very recently returned to work after months off so can't ask for more time off.
I want him to have someone there so offered to go.
Golf for OH.

Well Bs appointment went well they very pleased with his results but want him to have another blood test and a scan ,
Otherwise will see him in a year .

MIL on the other hand, contradicted everything she had said to us and told the social worker she would be able to manage on her own at home 😱
The social worker did ask SILs what impact it was having on us all
They told her everything, so she said MIL has a week to decide ,

If she goes home she will need carers 4 times a day , they told her she won't pay for it for more than a week and we will be back to the nightmare of worry.

Good news for B!

I have a pile of alterations in the sewing room, I have got quite a few done today, both for DIL1 and friends.

I have arthritis in my hand, now and again, like yesterday it is so painful by my thumb, I couldn't even use the lock of my bike!! Worse than that, I couldn't get my support tights etc on. I was at the physio this morning to make an appointment for a scan for my knee, I asked if they did treatment for arthritis in the hands, they don't but she told me there are physio's that are specialised in hands, I didn't know that!! There is one in the village and I have an appointment for Thursday afternoon.
