Yes, yay indeed. I had a problem with the I Pad, I think it was overloaded. GD1 kindly cleaned it up and put back everything I wanted. For some reason this one went under a separate heading and I couldn’t find it but it was there. I can’t cope with change now.

Change is harder as we get older Plant xx
I think you do very well.

Plant, I think you do very well, too. I'm glad your i-Pad is behaving now. They do start behaving badly once they are overloaded.

            Good morning ladies.

Plant, glad the iPad is sorted again. Hope it behaves itself now.

No plans for today, just the usual kind of day.
Fridge cleaning, ready for Sainsbury's delivery tomorrow.
I dare say I'll find some other jobs, can't sit down doing nothing.

              Good morning ladies.

Jobs usually present themselves don't they Nan2?

It rained torrentially yesterday evening, but it seems fine at the moment.
Aqua for me this morning, then quick a coffee with my friends. OH's monthly hospital appointment is at 1.

              Have a good day everyone.

                Morning ladies
Well MIL is in hospital again but just as a precaution,
Carer went yesterday said MIL didn't feel well so rang Bs sister who rang the District nurses but they just sent for a paramedic,
They looked her over said she seemed fine but would take her in just to be checked out,
We are going today so will see what's going on,
She will be on the assessment ward for now .

I wish she would agree to a home of some kind but she is adamant she won't go .

I'm going to Home bargains this morning and the Range, and I might pop next door to M&S.

It's a nice morning after all that rain last night.

                Gem
I hope S's appointment goes well

                Nanto

                It's habit isn't it.

                Plant

Good morning, still lovely and sunny here, colder with showers forecast for Friday, so they say.

I am going to a friends in Delft to take their jam!! Then taking GD1 to pick a parcel up in Zoetermeer, why on earth it is there we do not know. She is getting a new bed and I promised her a duvet cover, she ordered it and expected it to be delivered to the usual depot in their village, but no.

DS1 and Dil went to watch the Veterans Day Parade on 5th Avenue, cold but wonderful to watch. They will be on their way home later today, arrive here tomorrow morning.

Plant, I hope that the iPad is working again now.

Oma, I have just seen your post! I think at some point that MIL will have to go into a home.

                      Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, what a cute little kitten to greet us this morning. It's hard to sit down and do nothing, I agree, but sometimes we need to relax and let the world drift by for a while.

Gem, I hope all goes well for S this afternoon. Does she feel nervous about the treatments or takes it in her stride? How was aqua? Do you think you will feel the benefits of the deep water class in the ordinary classes as you get stronger?

Lizzie, what colour has GD1 chosen for her new duvet cover? What a nuisance it being delivered to Zoetermeer instead of locally. Did your DS1 and DIL plan their holiday to coincide with the Veterans' Day Parade, or was it just a lucky co-incidence? I hope they have a trouble-free and safe journey home.

Oma, your MIL's refusal to consider a rest/nursing home is becoming more and more of a worry for you all. Is there anybody she'd listen to, such as her GP or someone at the hospital? It would be better for her to choose somewhere now, while it's not a dire emergency than the family having to find somewhere in a hurry because of a crisis. I can imagine the conversation would be very difficult, but if she could visit a couple of places it might help. I hope you enjoyed your shopping this morning. Did you get everything you wanted?

After rain first thing, the weather has improved and there's even a bit of sun to be seen. Full of optimism, I've put washing out to dry! OH has gone to play cars with his car buddies today, so I'm going to get some boring housework done, and may even tackle the ironing. But may not!!

                          Daisy
She flat out refuses to look or listen to anyone ,but she is getting more feeble with each passing hospital visit
She slept for most of our visit ,
They have her on steroids again to strengthen her lungs but she isn't poorly as such ,
I think it's her body just tired now ,
But even the Drs said she's strong willed so she will fight this stay as usual.

We all agree though , that while she is in hospital we know she is relatively safe , taking her meds and getting regular meals.

                            Oma, hope MIL is ok.

I've spent this afternoon writing Christmas cards. Done about 75 % of them.
So thats a job nearly done.
