Gem, our posts crossed. Thank goodness you didn't have to stop for fuel or anything! I hope OH was extremely grateful for you getting there so quickly.

Gem, a good thing the police didn't stop you!!!

Daisy, the girls have chosen wraps, nice and easy, I have done all the shopping . DS1 and DIL love New York, they must know their way around by now!!

It is still very warm and sunny here, I would love a walk, but, wouldn't reach the corner of the street!

Oma, a shame that your MIL is so self centred, she will miss so much going on around her.

Lizzie,I would have been mortified if I'd been stopped! The golf course is only a couple of miles away, and heading out of town not towards it,so a lot of it is country lanes

        OH was grateful Daisy!
Aquafit is usually done in chest high water,as most moves require a push off from the floor. No swimming is involved so as good for non swimmers as those who can swim. If you go too deep you float off and can't do the exercises properly
The deep water version requires some sort of flotation support.

Sorry I am late to the pass again, had a bad night and have just had a nap, unplanned. I also love to watch the Remembrance march pass. Woke up and discovered it was dark. GD and H are out visiting her brother and wife. My DD and Bil are still in France and can’t wait to get back to their new GS.

Gemini, I loved my Aqua classes. Good job you didn’t get involved in an accident in your PJ’s Your little GS sounds a real little charmer.

Daisy, your walks with Eva in the Forest sound so enjoyable for you both. Although we are reasonably close, I haven’t walked much of the New Forest. .

Oma, What a pity that your family memory of GM will not be favourable. At least she doesn’t have to live with you, she is missing such a lot. I can’t understand how she brought up her children.

Nanto, I have 3 birthdays to buy for before starting on the Christmas presents, I have over 20 to buy, just for the family for Christmas.

Yes Daisy, the meat masher is for breaking up mince.
I have been told it does a better job than a wooden spoon or fork.
For how much it costs i'll give it a go.

Nanto, I think the masher will be useful then. I hate it when mince gets all lumpy.

Plant, I'm sorry to hear you had another bad night. Do you know what is spoiling your sleep, or are you just generally restless? We are very lucky to live where we live, and yes, I certainly do like walking in the Forest. In some ways I prefer the winter as it tends to be quieter. Where we live is getting busier and busier over the years we've been here. I know you have a lot of birthdays in December, but 20 presents is an awful lot. It's not just cost, it's choosing and buying them as well, plus wrapping up of course.

Gem, did OH enjoy her golf today? Doing aqua in chest high water makes sense - I just didn't think about how it actually worked!

Lizzie, I hope you enjoyed your time with your GDs, and I'm sure they made short work of the wraps. It sounds as though your knee is very painful if you can't walk far. How much longer do you have to wait to have it drained?

OH finished cleaning the caravan - it looks so much better. Eva and I got back from our walk just as it started to rain. Good timing for once.

We have an early start tomorrow - OH has a hospital appointment for his eye. Hopefully it will just be a quick check up and he won't need an injection.

Good morning, Nanto, now I know what a "meat masher" is! It does make sense, as Daisy said, it will get rid of the lumps.

Daisy, they fysio said not to try and walk, as if I can! In fact standing is the worst pain, I have an appointment next Tuesday then I hope another soon after that to drain it again. Luckily I can ride my bike!!

Plant, the lady I go to under here, she hardly sleeps, she listens to music etc if she can't sleep, she literally has the oldest Walkman I have ever seen!!

We had a change of plan yesterday, I asked what time I had to pick them up, GD2 said "not too early nan as I have to study for tests this week". She was sorry that she couldn't stay too long as wanted to carry on, I sat here thinking I may as well take all the ingredients and eat there with them, that was a good idea. The girls did all the work and I enjoyed being there.
I took some leggings I am making for long, tall C. I had to make the pattern myself as she wanted flared bottoms etc. I literally cut them out with cm's of seams in case they had to be altered before finishing them, I took my pins etc, thinking if she put them on inside out I could pin them to size, she tried them on and they are perfect!!! How I managed that I do not know, now I can finish them this week. I have based the pattern on what I see the girls wearing at the gym etc!

I am doing coffee at the office this morning, the lady in charge retires in January, 26 years she has been there, she brought all this help to stand, form filling, tax help etc etc. We are going out to lunch on December 18th as the man that knows all about the taxes is stopping, he has done it for 18 years, he did work for the income tax so knows all about it. Very complicated!

                    Good morning ladies.

Daisy, hope OH doesn't need an eye injection.

Definitely cleaning the windows today. Must get the karcher charged up. Hubby insisted on trying to mend the old one yesterday but it's was beyond repair.

I've part cooked and bag of baby potatoes in the microwave, so going to get those in the freezer first.

                      Good morning everyone.

Nan2, when you mention the Karcher I remember it is on my list of things I want!

Lizzie, a good idea to take the meal ingredients over to the GDs

Daisy, I hope the appointment so soon done with and no injection needed. OH enjoyed her golf yesterday and they played well.

I hope you slept better last night Plant.

Deep water aqua was hard work and very funny! It was new class but the majority of the people there were regulars at the instructor's class at another pool. The rest of us regular users of the other aqua classes at this pool. Staying in your place is a big challenge. I often ended up almost touching the person in front of me a couple of times, when there had originally been several feet between us
My legs are strong from all the other aqua, my core muscles are not, and that's what's needed for this class. If I continue hopefully they will tone up a bit!
I will definitely try this class again, but can't go next Sunday.

Aqua AGAIN this morning, but I will only have two classes this week. Reflexology this afternoon, then those damned Minutes to write up!!

                        Morning ladies
                        Everyone is so busy.

Plant I hope you had a better night , it's awful not getting a decent sleep isn't it,
I bet DD can't wait to see the baby .

                        Daisy
Fingers crossed J doesn't need a jab today,
Just as well you can drive isn't it.
I bet Eva loves the changing smells of the forest through the seasons😁

                        Lizzie
Those girls are so lucky you can make things for them.
                        Did they enjoy the wraps?

                        Gem
You will be super fit soon 😁
I wish I could overcome my fear of water,
Once the minutes are done you can relax , it does sound like a chore though.

We are off to MILs this morning and I need to go for a few bits first

I ordered a load of things for Finn for Christmas last night they are coming by Amazon today,
Clare sent me a few suggestions well 5 to be precise so we just bought them all, none were over £10 .

I have been having a real problem with logging in, thought it was sorted but playing up again this morning. GD1 has spent quite a time, clearing out some stuff that I don’t need anymore and I have, at last been able to load GRUS. My problem is that I try to sort things out and then get into a worst muddle. It was fortunate GD1 was home without H and her other half. I find she explains and is patient with me.

Oma I hope you find Mil in a good mood. Did you say “Pigs might fly” I shall have to start thinking about presents but I have to buy for 3 birthdays first. I am tempted to pass the buck and give each family some money and get them to find suitable presents. I have about 20. The parents of the children usually give me ideas.

Lizzie, your girls are so lucky but I am sure they know that and appreciate what you make for them.

Daisy, I hope all goes well for you at the hospital. It must be so different walking in the Forest without lots of tourists. Caravan all nice and clean for next year. I was very sad to see our last caravan go.

Hello everyone. Sorry I'm very late to the party today.

The early start this morning has floored me, but at least OH didn't need an injection, just an eye test and a scan. Hopefully the results of the scan won't result in a recall for the dreaded injection. It takes about 2 weeks for the hospital to write with the result.

I'll catch up with everything tomorrow. xx

MIL had a bit off a moan but not as bad as we expected,
Put her bedding out , emptied her kitchen bin did the dishes and cleaned the work tops down, and B made her bed,

We are taking our hoover over at some point to give her stairs a good clean,
Hers is rubbish I could suck up with a straw stronger.
They don't look like they have been done for quite a while ,

She has a cleaner and I'm trying to figure out what she actually gets paid for.
The bathroom is not looking great and the kitchen isn't clean,
She won't let us do much but I'm taking my cleaning stuff and I'm not asking this time I'm just going to do it.

GS came for his lunch and stayed about 2 hours , he's driving back to Leeds tonight.

                              Daisy
Hopefully J doesn't need another eye jab ,
Have a early night if you can, it will do you good.

                              Plant
I think with that many it would be money gifts ,
I never touch my computer either , B does all that ,
Fingers crossed GD sorting it it solves the connection problem.

Amazon has been with the things we ordered for Finn so his Christmas is sorted for us 😁

Plant, glad GD was able to sort your computer.

Daisy, so glad J didn't need an eye injection.

Oma, does MIL like to chat with the cleaner, instead of letting her get on with her work.
My Amazon order should arrive at the post office tomorrow.

We had quite a bit of rhubarb in the freezer, so i made 3 crumbles,2 in the freezer and i've left one out.
Still got plenty of rhubarb in the freezer,so i could do with making some pies.
