    Good morning everyone.

Nan2 what a cute teddy to have coffee with

    How are you Plant?

Golf for OH today. I told the library I wont be in as we'd rather not leave the cats alone (although to be honest Poppy seems so active and robust now I think it would be OK) My reflexology appointment had to be moved from yesterday, and as I'm not going to the library I can have it this morning.
Perhaps GS1 will be coming today?

I hope everyone is well and has a good day.

      Morning ladies
      Plant
      How are you today?
B threw up several times yesterday and his stomach was a bit iffy, Dr said it was all the stuff on his chest going down , he's on more antibiotics, he just can't shift it ,

      Gem
Hope you enjoy your reflexology does it take long ?
Poppy sound like it isn't bothering her too much.

      Daisy
that is a good idea about the test strips and lancets, I will ring our local dog rescue today.
      How is J today?

      Nanto
We . Are the same it's dark wet and thoroughly miserable.
We haven't seen a light day for ages.
The rain is lashing down and it's windy ,

B put the bin out and we are hoping it doesn't blow over , it's the recycling bin so lots of paper etc that could get blown around.
I don't fancy chasing a cereal box or some random leaflets down the road.

      Hope everyone is keeping warm.

Oma, it's an hour treatment and she comes to me, so I am around. Poppy is acting as though she hasn't had an operation now! They are fine together, we just worry about any playfights with him getting her in a headlock!

Poor B, he's having a rough time of it. No rain here but it's gloomy.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. This dreary weather is getting us all down, isn't it. Thank goodness for Nanto's cheery friend's greeting.

Nanto, I've got another friend who still uses flat sheets. She's a retired nurse and does beautiful hospital corners! Steak and onion pie sounds delicious and perfect for a dull day.

Gem, Poppy is doing well - brave little girl, but I can understand you wanting to keep an eye on them at the moment. Enjoy your reflexology. I hope the weather's ok for golf today. I do hope GS1 comes over. He needs to get out and have a change of scene.

Oma, poor B. He must be fed up and it's taking such a long time to chase that chestiness off. Does he need stronger antibiotics? I had a blood sugar test kit for Clyde, but he was so stable I didn't feel the need to test very often, but a lot of diabetic dogs need testing, especially if they're not reliable eaters.

Like everyone else, we're under a thick layer of cloud and there seems no signs of it moving. It's our glass bottle collection today and we haven't bothered to put our box out - there's one jam jar and two wine bottles.

Daisy, Jam jar v wine bottles, pleased to see the wine bottles won the day. I hope J is almost back on his feet.

Oma, Poor B, he has had it bad, I hope the doctor is right and he might make some progress now.

Nanto, what dismal weather we are having, We need some winter sunshine to cheer us up.

I slept very well, tummy feels okay so when my cleaner comes I am going to go M&S Foodhall to pick up a parcel, socks actually. What happens to socks? Mine disappear and I am left with odd ones. GD1 uses my washing machine and dryer, I presume they get mixed up with hers. I shall have to start wearing odd socks soon.

I have been for my therapy, the therapist was saying she has had shingles almost 4 months but because it isn’t in her face they don’t give her medicine, she said I should have had medicine from day one with it being in my face, I didn’t even go to the doctor until I had had it 10 days! No wonder I got the strong medicine!!!!

Oma, I do hope that B soon improves.

We all seem to be de-cluttering.

I am waiting for the post delivering a new mirror for on my bike, the one I had broke off in the frost last week, I do miss it! I have ordered 2 so will have a spare in the future.

My swimming friend is taking one of her cats to the vet today, she doesn't think it will be going home with them though, she was so upset talking about it yesterday.

                Poor kitty, is it old?
                Is the medicine helping ?
Always best to have mirrors on your bike .

                Daisy
So you have lived on Jam and wine then 🤣🤣
                How's J any better?

Dr sent B some more medication today and a linctus for the cough,
The pharmacist delivered it today, nothing was mentioned about it yesterday when he was there so we are assuming they reviewed it after surgery.

Plant I'm very glad that you are feeling better

Oma, fingers crossed the meds and linctus do the job.

Lizzie, how sad about the cat. The downside of pet ownership

I have had a very lazy day. Looking after the cats, that's my excuse
GS1 didn't come and DD didn't contact me at all. Whether she wants him to come another day I don't know .

Oma, the cat was 12, it had cancer so had to be put to sleep, they are very upset, of course.

The mirrors from Ali were a huge mistake, will I ever learn! You couldn't even see anything in the mirror part, so, I went to my bike shop and bought one, exactly like the one that was on, he fitted it for me as well, I was thinking it must have been the first one I had, DS2 came with it one birthday about 7 years ago so it has worn well, the young man thinks it has been banged whilst frozen.

Lizzie, glad you got your mirrors sorted out in the end. Your poor friend having to have her cat put down. We do miss our pets so much when we lose them.

Gem, I'm sure the kittens have appreciated your undivided attention today, but I'm sorry GS1 didn't come over to you. Your DD must be so worried about him.

Oma, I hope B's new meds help him get over this lurgy. Well done to the surgery and the pharmacist for such a quick delivery. If we lived on jam and wine for the last month, we didn't have much at that rate!

As Plant says, at least the wine won against the jam! . Plant, so pleased to hear you are feeling better. How was your new cleaner?

Good morning, our posts crossed Gem, it must be such a worry for everyone concerned! Does his father do anything to help your DD?

Good morning, this might be as much sun we are going to get.

Oma, hope the meds do the trick for B.

Lizzie, are you sending the other mirrors back?

Don't think there is much happening today for us.

Hubby hoping a sensor light he ordered is coming today, but they did say it will come Wednesday or Thursday. Its for the back porch.

Bacon 🥓, baby potatoes 🥔 and beans 🫘 for dinner.
You all must be fed up of hearing about my boring meals.

Nanto, the first and last parcel I returned to Ali, never arrived so I won't bother. I should have read the comments before I ordered.

Good morning Nan2 and Lizzie, and those to come.

A dull dark one here with a lot of overnight rain.
I wish we did have that sun on your graphic Nan2!

Lizzie, DD1's ex has GS1 on Wednesdays and every other Saturday. He's not a lot of support otherwise.

Aqua for me this morning. I won't be staying for coffee as I am out to lunch at 12. I'm meeting my friend C and our mutual friend CF (we all went to school together)

I hope you are all feeling well today.

                                Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, my mum used to make bacon, baby potatoes and broad beans, when the beans were in season, and I always loved it. I've tried making it, but bacon just isn't the same these days. So no, not fed up at all. Today's gave me a delicious memory. xx. Thank you for a glimpse of the sun - there's not much chance of the real thing here at the moment.

Gem, have a lovely time, lunching with your old school friends.

Dog training restarts today. The hall has been closed since Christmas while they put a new roof on it. Hopefully it will have stopped the leaks and will keep a bit warmer in the winter - although the dogs don't seem to mind even if we humans are shivering!
