      Morning all.
Qwerty you must mention about the speed of traffic coming from the farm to any voting seeking candidates that may well come knocking on your door between now and June the 8th.
      Gem enjoy your spa

Oma I am very disappointed with you..... Where are our helpings of Baked Alaska ?

Hello everyone.Hope you are all having a good day with any plans going well.
We've been to buy the paper so had our usual walk along the cliffs. At the moment a Bara Brith is cooking and I've prepared the meat for a pie. I confess I mostly use ready to roll pastry these days.

I've also got two washing loads on the line but it keeps spotting with rain, not enough to get it in but enough to wet the amount it's dried since the last shower,if you understand what I mean.

Mimi she is standing or re election you would have thought she would have made sure she didn't miss her surgery, we never have anyone knock at the door they shove leaflets through but they all seem to be helpers who I guess would pass a message on but the girl that came this morning for the Conservatives was a very young 18 , nothing from labour which this missing councillor is from. I spoke to her office and was informed she works from home and runs her own diary how on earth does this work if the office has no idea where she is , phoned her at home now wouldn't you think she would have an answer phone but no, and we are funding her gggrrrr

Doesn't sound very organised lady Querty, would the farmer be able to do anything for you? Hope you didn't meet any bears on your day out with DD and GD. Very nice when you have to get a smaller size.

Busy, busy here that is why I have not posted regularly.Matt came up today to help Brian paint the bungalow. Not an easy task as it is pebble dashed and I decided to change it from magnolia to mid stone. Going to need another coat next Saturday when Matt is free again. Might be a bungalow but it's quite hard graft.Tomorrow is going to be an easier day and as it's hubs turn to walk the mutt I am going to empty my wardrobe and bag up anything I no longer wear and put winter stuff away.

Oh how sad,but as you say his suffering is now over. Life is very cruel at times, hope Brian can remember his old colleague in happier times.

So sorry to hear the news Oma. Poor Brian must be really upset even though it was expected eventually. He is at peace now.

Thanks ladies , Brian is sad but ok I think it brings home to him his own struggle , he's a bit upset he can't go to Germany with the other lads for the funeral but glad the other lads will be there so the unit will be well represented .

Oma - so sorry to hear about Brian's Army pal. No wonder he's upset - they must have been through a lot together. I'm sure his family will get good support from his old Unit. xx

Qwerty - I remember you saying about the increase in traffic on your lane. I'd be worried too. I do hope you can get something done to make it safe.

Good morning. It's a beautiful sunny day here, but I think we're due for some showers later, so we're off to the allotment. The courgettes are taking over our greenhouse and garden, so it's time to get them planted out.

I hope Gem and her DDs are having a lovely time at their spa.
