Good morning Nan2, Oma and everyone else

Oma, take it easy so you don't put things back!

A free day for me today. OH golfing. It is raining, although I don't think it's here for the day. GS1s first sports day tomorrow, so I'm crossing my fingers for fine day for that!

I have a little shopping to do, but not sure what I will do apart from that, and pushing the hoover around a little. I want to book a holiday for us so may make some final decisions about that. it may be Northumberland.

I am Oma! I have never been to one of GDs so I'm excited

My sister was fine thanks, Oma. Very settled in the new bungalow, we are happy with the move to the smaller setting.

          Good afternoon all.
Hope the day is going well for everyone.
I did my cleaning job and came back to make lunch and have just put away the Tesco delivery. It was dry first thing but rain seems to have settled in now. It 's ages since we had rain so can't grumble especially as the garden needs a watering. Pilates for me this evening. Sometimes it's an effort to go but I'm always glad I do,even if I do come out feeling somewhat stretched.

DS has just let me know he has had the go- ahead on a new flat. It's a brand new build but unfurnished apart from a cooker and he is currently in a furnished property. Something tells me the Bank of Mum and Dad may soon get an application for a loan.,though he will keep an eye on Gumtree and Freecycle etc.

Rained for most of the day here as well Clover.
Good news for DS getting a new flat. I've heard you can get some really good items on Freecycle and Gumtree.

Just a quickie I have the twins and they are sleeping, lunch went fine I did what you said and focused on the good times I won't say there were no tears because we all had a sniffle but it was good to see them a very steady afternoon, we are meeting again in September it's my other friends birthday and take it from there , we sat in a booth so wasn't too bad I was worried we would be sat at a table for 4 even thought there are 3 of us I would have found it difficult an empty chair 😢 Dil in London today so picked the kids up from son and will drop them off , DD in Cambridge for 2 days DS was in Hull yesterday Sil in Aldershot tomorrow I don't know where my kids are half the time, will be back to read threads later if I stay awake

Well the forecast was wrong, it rained all day. OH got very wet at golf, and would have given up were it not a competition!
I stayed in and dry apart from a quick trip to Tesco.
GS1 went on his taster day (or probably part day) at school and enjoyed it. Being him he insisted on wearing the new uniform he got last week.

Good news about your son's flat Clover

I'm glad the lunch went well Qwerty. It's natural that there were tears, it will get easier with time xx

Good evening, everyone. This is the first chance I've had to get online since yesterday morning, and I really must go to bed soon - it was about 1.30 am last night, and I've been up since 6.45 this morning. The eyelids weigh a ton - each!!

The theatre was billiant last night - I'll put it in a separate thread. Today has been the usual Tuesday busy, with dog training added this evening - we've just got back. Hairdressers at 10 am to morrow, but after that I hope to have a quiet-ish day.

Sleep well everyone - I'll catch up with your posts tomorrow. xx

Nanto - thank you. DIL2 took the photo of the children. The other one was done on the camera timer and was a masterpiece of planning between all the family!!!

Good morning - off to the hairdressers, but may also have GD2 so not sure when I'll be back today. It's her playgroup beach party, but she has to have an adult with her and not sure if anyone can take her, so if not I'll take her to the hairdressers and then for a little treat, depending on the weather. It's very dull and overcast again this morning, and everywhere has had a good drenching. Great for the gardens but not so good for the outdoor play ground!

                            Have a good day everyone.

                              Good morning everyone.
I'm doing well. Up, showered, dressed and washload already on the line, by 8.30 am. I know the likes of Oma could have cleaned the whole house and washed and ironed by now, but it's good going for me

I am going to GS1s preschool sports day this morning, so will set off for DDs about 9, and we will walk to the school together for the 10am start.
OH, my mum and I are going to DD2's this afternoon. Mum hasn't seen the children for weeks, and the baby has changed so much, as they do! OH will bring mum, as both DDs live within a few miles of each other, so I can just go from one DD to the other. It saves me lots of driving, and gives me more time to spend with the DDs

                              Have a good day everyone.
