Afternoon ladies,it has been blessed chilly here the last couple of days.We were out to lunch yesterday and I must say it was lovely,the dessert even more so. Today I think I must have a temperature as I have done lots of that cleaning stuff.I blitzed the kitchen from corner to corner and top to bottom Thrown out a load of stuff I haven't used in ages.Rearranged all the equipment on the work tops cake mixer/slow cooker etc.Vacuumed the entire bungalow,cooked spag bol for dinner tonight,phew need a rest now.

Evening all, migraine gone at last ! I've taken that many pain killers I feel really woozy.
Have I missed anything exciting today, I feel as if I have lost a whole weekend .

Mimi have you tried Syndol ? I have migraine tablets but they don't work if you already have a migraine they have to be taken at first sign of it , but if I don't catch it in time I will take Syndol . they have been having a problem producing them as a new supplier took over and the had to apply for a licence so chemist said but they now back on the shelves , they really good make you a bit sleepy but better than the pain

I haven't tried those , I take migraleve and I find that as long as I take one of the pink ones when I get the first symptoms of a migraine coming on, nausea, light headed and unable to focus, it usually helps. But these symptoms can happen surprising when I am asleep so go unnoticed unti the pain wakes me, as happened to me on Saturday. Once the pain takes hold it can be days before I feel better. 😞

Ah, I didn't know they were still available Jean. I hadn't used them for years and wanted some a while ago and was told they were no longer available. I rarely use them as I hate the 'out of it' feeling they give me. For a really severe tension headache they are a godsend though. I hope you feel better soon Mimi x

I could get used to it! It was only because the car had to go in for a service so on the walk home just happen to pass one of out local cafes. Had a light classic, scrambled egg, grilled bacon and toms. Very good.xx

Sorry ladies, haven't been on this thread for quite a few days ..... just poked about on the hottest topics. Been busy keeping DIL busy . She has gone back to work today that will help the time go quicker. Off to a friend for coffee and then other DIL to see GS for a bit. Hope you all have a good day.

Morning ladies I cant go out today woke during night and my eyes didn't feel right went to the bathroom and they had swollen up like puff balls with just little slits to see through , I took some anti histamines and although they still very swollen I can open them a bit more today my eye lids are very itchy and red I think I must have touched something and then touched my eyes last night but I cant think what . I have a eye gel mask in the fridge I will put that on when its cold enough see if that helps
