Pleased she is OK Oma.
My friend is waiting to see if she is going to be readmitted into hospital again. She went for her check up earlier, for the mastectomy done last week, and the nurse said she thinks my friend is bleeding inside. Waiting for her hubby to let us know what is happening.

Oh dear Nanto,your friend is having a rough time. I hope she can get away without having to go back into hospital.
Oma your poor MIL. Her ribs must be so painful and to have a chest infection as well must be making her feel rotten I hope she can take it easy and doesn't have to cough too much.I'm sorry I omitted to say how pleased I am that hubby's Radiotherapy is finished. You are both so stoical we all admire you I'm sure.

At last the sun is shining. It's such a relief. To see the washing blowing on the line is a treat (and blow to the ironing it creates )

At 5.30 my friend was still waiting to go into theatre.It seems as if anything can go wrong, it has gone wrong.

Oma - so pleased B has finished his radiotherapy. I hope your MIL is ok - her ribs must be hurting and having a chest infection on top of that is no joke at all.

I had coffee and lunch with a couple of friends from College days, so a nice relaxing day. How can a relaxing day be so tiring, though. I think I need an early night tonight! I've done some of the preparation for lunch toorrow, but need to re-arrange the dust and waft the sucky up thing round in the morning. If we're lucky it will be nice enough to eat outside - cobwebs in the garden are ok, aren't they!

I will do the holiday washing today .As we had a washing machine at the villa, there is very little. I am seeing my mum and taking her shopping later, collecting library audio books for her on the way. Mr Tesco came last night, so no shopping needed for us.

Morning all, well I have had a week off and my feet haven't touched the ground. First dogs op, then taking my friend to hospital where she saw the consultant and we were out in half an hour, only to wait in pharmacy for 1.5 hours to get her meds. She has intravenous antibiotics for 6 weeks which the DN comes daily to administer. The wait sign said 30 minutes after seeing people who came in after us come and go I went to the desk and asked what was the hold up. Turns out some twit hadn't entered the script through the system, I was not a happy bunny. Keeping Shiloh amused as he is on limited lead exercise has been fun, so I ordered him a play purse which has 3 levels of play. Arrived this morning minus the mat the item has to be attached to grrrrrr. Phoned the company and another being delivered tomorrow. Nothing is ever straight forward for us. Everything crossed DD and SIL finally exchange contracts today on their new house. It's been a long ardous process, so hoping for no more gliches. They have packers and removals + builders on standby. Off to my friends to do a wee bit of housework for her after walking the mutt. Back to work tomorrow for a rest.Oh and to top of my morning, dear husband left a tissue in his pocket, now I have laundry covered in bits.

Morning ladies waiting for Josh and mutt to arrive I have cleaned all the inside windows hoovered through ironed clean bedding and did general tidy , now the day is mine no need to go out no hospitals or shopping so if Josh wants a slob day that's fine with me , Libra we have the same trouble with our Hospital pharmacy they useless needed a prescription for Brian a couple of weeks ago and after about 1 hour i asked about it and they couldn't find it. Then the pharmacist came out and insisted he had received it on the ward as a in patient the week before, I pointed out he hadn't been in hospital since April but she was insisting so I got a bit annoyed and told her I would know when my own husband had been in hospital . She eventually rang the consultant and 10 minutes later it was there , no apology for almost calling me a liar 😲

Just had a bit of a fright , took Storm for a walk all fine on the way back we passed some long grass and when it rustled he took fright and tried to get away , he was pulling backwards towards the road and I couldn't get control he managed to slip his head and nose straps no idea how , luckily I also had it attached to his collar but he was so strong he was pulling both of us towards the road and I was scared he would slip his collar too , A very kind man in a van stopped and gave me a hand to calm him and get him under control then he walked very good by my side the rest of the way home , . I won't be taking him that way again or without his body harness at least he can't slip that . I was very shaky and tearfull when we got indoors I just kept thinking what might have happened if he had run into the road 😲
