Just got home after a very interesting day at Reading Uni with DGS and DD. SIL had to work so they asked me if I would like to go. GS is going there in September to read Ancient History, he has an unconditional offer and has just had his accommodation confirmed. It was good to see where he will be, he had a one to one meeting with one of his tutors and met a couple of other lecturers too. I can't believe he will be going there soon, only seems five minutes he was in his pram

Oma, the rash on Brians leg looks very painful.

Enfys, one minute they are babies, the next minute they are so grown up. Sometimes I can't believe the eldest granddaughter is engaged to be married.

Oma, hope the antibiotics are doing their job.

Good morning ladies. Lovely & sunny here. GS had an overnight sleepover as we're taking him to a Super Heroes event. Comfy trainers for me.

                  Good morning ladies, happy spring!

Oma, that rash looks sore. Poor B. Come on medics, get some answers!

DD, GS and I are going to Lambing Sunday at a local agricultural college today . Not sure what it entails, but we all love lambs

My GD will be back from Scotland by teatime. DD and I will be relieved ! She has had a great time though!

                  Have a good day everyone.

I hope someone has told the weather that it is Spring.
Pleased your BD will be back soon, I remember the first time my DD went away with a friend, they were a bit late back and I was convinced they had an accident, of course that was before mobile phones.
My GD went to an Agricultural College and they had a lambing weekend. The children were given a bottle to feed the lovely woolly bundles.

Oma that rash looks nasty. How is his lordship today. Hope he is bearing up to being in hospital and he gets well very, very soon.
Happy Spring everyone, the sun has just decided to shine so making it appear to be warmer. Looking forward to longer day light, it makes the days seem longer.
We had a lovely evening yesterday, we had a meal in a cosy pub/ hotel. After our meal we were able to all sit around on sofas in the lounge and just simply chat. No one needed to get on their phone and tell Facebook where we were, no one took a photo of their meal and post it on social media . There was no music playing, no gaming machines constantly flashing, just good company a glass of wine and lots of chatting and laughter.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

We have had a busy but pleasant day, DD, SIL and youngest girls came to us for lunch, then we all headed off to the beach for a good walk with the dog.Sadly no sunshine but not too cold, just blustery. Hubs and I + dog all ruddy cheeked but tired now. All this dog walking I expect to be sylph like,it's not happening.

Yesterday morning the sunshine was glorious, but it clouded over midday. Had visitors yesterday afternoon till 7.30ish. Didn't get on the computer or see much television.

                                Hi everyone.

Work for me this afternoon, followed by our hairdresser coming. The usual boring housework type stuff apart from that!

Really hoping B is home with you soon Oma. Do you sleep OK when he's away? My husband worked away most of our married life, and I soon got used to it. Now, if OH goes away for golf, which she has only done twice so far, I feel quite nervous! I would adjust again if I had to, but it feels odd because it's not the norm now.
