    Good morning everyone.
I have a friend coming to lunch. I have just put a seeded loaf in to bake, and will make sweet potato and red pepper soup later. We always take the
pud when we visit each other for lunch ,so that will be a nice surprise. She is coming with me to collect GD from school, as they haven't seen each other for ages.

Morning all. Is your soup recipe in the recipe section Gem? Sounds yummy.

Just had some good news I'd like to share with you all. My sister was discharged from the Oncologist Clinic this morning. A little taste of goodness. 💜

Yay that is good news Nana.

Sun is shining here.Just put food out for birds and the pesky gulls have come and hoovered the larger pieces up. I always tell them to go and get some fish. They must be able to see the sea from the roof of our house

              Great news Nana
I make my soup in the soup maker. We had sweet potato and red pepper soup at a cafe once and I decided to make it at home. It turned out well!
DD was very late picking up GD tonight. It didnt matter as we have nothing on this evening, ,and I love her being here. However, I was worried that DD was giving birth in a layby between work and my house! Of course she wasn't. I do wish she wasn't working, at 38 weeks.

Nana - that's really good news about your sister.

Gemini - My DIL2 worked until Christmas Eve when she was expecting GD2 and if it hadn't been Christmas I think she would have gone in the morning (4 days later) when she went into labour. And I worked on the Saturday morning before my DS1 was born on the Monday afternoon. I know you can't help worrying, but she's got plenty of time.

Nanto - I bet you were really pleased to get those jobs done, and you can't beat washing dried on the line in a good breeze and sunshine.

The sun's shining - and I'm having yet another day out today - coffee and lunch with a couple of lovely friends from College.

Oma - you and Brian are in my thoughts. I hope you get some good news today. Big hug, lovely lady. xxxx

                        Good morning everyone.

OH golfing this afternoon (and ironing this morning ) I am going over to DD1's this morning and having lunch with her and GS. From there to my mums for her Thursday shopping afternoon.

Like your DIL , Daisy, DD and SIL have their own business so maternity leave and finishing dates are not in the equation! As she had pre -eclampsia with her first pregnancy however (and was very ill pre and post delivery) she had said she would wind down this time. She has, but not much.
                        Enjoy your day out!

Free day for me today, the sun is shining so if the cold wind has dropped, I might do some gardening, I have cut out a skirt to make, it is now sitting looking at me to get started. Need to pop out later for milk but not dressed yet.

Morning everyone. Hugs sent in the direction of Oma & OH. Lovely sunny day here today but still chilly. Aiming to start some craft work today that I've been putting off. Like you Plant the blasted things have been looking at me since before Christmas. Hopefully my new specs might come from the hospital today or tomorrow. That should help towards seeing the stitches better.

Oma love to you & your family. Hope the scan happens today with a good outcome. They take their time don't they? Poor NHS is under such a strain but it doesn't help when you're waiting for treatment.
